NY Xanga Meet April 16th! Mark Your Calendars!

Flash Mob
Being a part of a flash mob has been on my bucket list way too long. I say this occasion would be a great time to try one out! Not everybody has to participate of course (we’ll need some people to film it), but the more the merrier! Who’s interested?We probably shouldn’t try for something too complicated like this dancing one, but perhaps something like an impromptu lightsaber battle or something simple as we all point up to an imaginary object in the air (probably the easiest to do). What are some of your ideas?
Why should you come?
Hanging out with awesome Xangans in a big fun city is an amazing incentive, don’t you think?Even if you don’t know that many Xangans (which was a concern last time) you don’t have to worry. Meet ups like this are great ways to network and discover new people. Just ask anybody that attended the meet up last year.
I met a lot of new people and strengthened existing relationships through this memorable experience. I’m sure you will as well.

Too bad I can’t go. I live in Texas…and there’s no way in hell I would be going to New York by myself. Maybe one day, I’ll go to a xanga meet. Lol

Dude, I’d totally wanna do that elaborate flash mob thing…but I just wanna dance. Period. LOL. Dave’s gonna have to have some different stuff this time, given that the drama around here ain’t quite the same as it was last year. Maybe that’s how I’ll get my Xanga drama update. I haven’t been paying attention to it much in awhile. xP

It’s a maybe for me if I’ll be near the area then I’ll do my best to come but coming for one day only all the way from Canada not something I can really do or would feel ok about doing.

@rpghero27 - Mmm usually people just learn through interacting. It’s like a meet and greet. Obviously with that size group you won’t get to know everybody the same way, but you come out of it with more contacts and people to follow on Xanga at least!
@shuang_zhaohui - Yeah definitely, if you do come you need to stay for a couple days at least. We got a couple Canadians coming to this meet as well.

@TwinkleSprinkles - Don’t know the location eh? Google! I’m probably not the best person to ask regarding good hotel locations, but airbornerose might know. I normally just go to hotel.com or something and search for hotels that way. If it got good customer reviews I’m sold.

@Coffee_Kaioken - Psh. No one’s carrying me anywhere. But in terms of size and whatnot, yeah, you’d probably be able to quite easily given that I’m tiny and don’t exactly weigh much. But even I’d be difficult to carry on a scooter for a long distance.
