Personality Traits I Fancy in a Girl (Vlog)
Somebody was asking me when I would go about making an entry about this, so here you go. These are most, although not necessarily all, of the traits I find myself attracted to in a girl. Don’t worry, I don’t expect people to be perfect and have all these traits. It’s just an ideal.

I honestly, gave up on lists a long time ago. No guy or woman will ever fit what I want in them. I’ll just have to hopefully find them..

I think most girls would like to say they are most of those things. While they are or not, really takes an outsider to judge.
I mean, what girl likes to admit that she can be a real pain in the -you know-, or that she’s high maintenance?

I’m def not high maintenance very trustworthy and have a sense of humor…but eh, need more work on the other things like confidence and optimism is overrated I think. I’m pessimistic. I hold grudges. I don’t care. I’m not perfect.

@eternal_relevance - Definitely. You know, I think if I did meet a girl that had all of these traits I would be suspicious haha. Everybody has flaws.

@Roadlesstaken - oh well come here, there are bunch of “optimistic” girls here…I just feel like its so fake. You can’t be THAT happy. The world sucks in my opinion, and pretending nothing is wrong is dumb. But hey, they have no cares in the world, maybe they are happy for real. But they possess none of the other qualities b/c they look for rich men, buy expense crap, expect dinner every night at an expensive restaurant and act like bitches if they don’t get their way…but hey, they are optimistic.
Oh god, the amount of cheese in this video makes me feel lactose intolerant.
I’m smarter than you. I guess that means we can never be together. And yes, I also like my ladies dumb and easy.
@Daniella_Aalyiah_Li - Ah, my definition of optimistic wouldn’t be that. I’m an optimistic person myself and although I know the world isn’t always so great there are things that are. I try to be hopeful of better things in my near future, and in turn I feel a bit more content with life. Those girls probably aren’t as happy as you think they are.

Hey, from my perspective–Don’t listen to people who tell you there aren’t any girls out there who fit the bill! Trust me, there are. They’re probably just harder to find. The respectful, E.I.-savvy girls likely don’t stand out at first because sometimes those very traits make them difficult to spot. But believe me, they’re out there. Hope you find one!

I may have all of those qualities…except I’m pretty sure I’m smarter than you, lol. It’s just statistically sound for me to be smarter, what can I say? I can’t help it.
When you got to “laid back” I was like…aww, boo, but the type of “laid back” you described (about appreciating the little things) is something I am. I’m just better described as “driven” I think.
And to add on to the optimism debate, I would say that it’s harder to be optimistic the more heartbreak one has experienced. But I’ve only been in two relationships in my life, so it isn’t that difficult for me to hope that somewhere here or in Maryland the right guy is waiting.
Also I think “trusting” goes along with optimism. A girl who has been cheated on and hurt many times won’t be that trusting anymore.
Perverted even..pwhahaha. Lol. Hmm..those are good traits to look for in a girl..shouldn’t be too hard to find. =)
I notice you don’t speak like you normally do when you’re doing these things. Just be yourself. It’s only natural.

I think the best trait you named there was optimistic. It’s so true what you said.. people nowadays just aren’t very happy a lot of the time. Too much stress? I suppose so. Good luck finding the perfect girl!!

I’m surprised you think optimism in a girl is a rare thing. I’m basically the definition of optimistic and happy, so I like to surround myself with optimists.
I have a pessimist best friend though so I just tune out everything negative he says.

Good luck to you. She’s out there. In fact I don’t believe there’s like, one match for everyone. I think there are a bunch of great fits for everybody, but once you find and fall in love with one of them you stop thinking romantically about the others.

I could see many people having these positive traits, but you know, negative traits also come with the positive ones. So, you should be asking yourself what negative traits can you tolerate to have some of these positive traits in a person and which ones are major deal-breakers =P.

Oh, you’re so funny Alex. About a half-second before you admitted that your line was so cheesy, I cringed and said out loud, “Oh, that’s so cheesy.” It is a good list and probably one that most of us would want in our partner regardless of gender. The challenge is, I think all of us think we are most of those things. Everyone seems to think they are low maintenance, for example, when that certainly is not the case. Good luck in finding that girl, though. You seem like a really nice and together guy, someone who will make a girl happy.

Alex, if there is one thing I have known about falling in love do shout it out and let people know, and sadly, my relationship is failing right now, and it hurts…and that too comes with falling in love sometimes…Hopefully both of us find that individual we can fall for and eventually fall in love with over many years, even grow old with!
Good video. You should do more of these in the future. I’m sure your Mrs. Perfect is somewhere out there. =) I think that the older we get, the more we want in our partner. For me, it use to be he has to look good and be tall. But now, my list of what I want in a guy is more detailed and longer. In a way it’s good, but it’s also bad because it limits my selection.
