Interesting? Me? Nah…
It’s funny, I’ve heard several people say that I’m an interesting person recently. While I take that as a compliment, I’m not sure how accurate that statement is. If I am, I sure don’t feel like it a lot of the time. Seriously, I feel like a lot of people would probably get bored of my current low key lifestyle. I’m not seeing anybody, so there’s no love life to keep me engaged. During my free time, you’ll probably find me playing tennis, watching a movie/television show, reading, or surfing the net as oppose to going out and partying (as a lot of my peers seems to enjoy). The rest of the time I’m either working at a tennis club, being a graduate student (which I’ll be quite occupied with this semester, so that might mean less updates on my part), or sleeping (getting up at 4:30am for work really messes up my sleep cycle!). Occasionally I will travel, but I do that in order to spice up my routine life.
I truly admire the lives of so many other people I’ve encountered on here. Many of you can attest to the fact that we got a variety of people on this site. I can’t name everyone, but here are a few that pop into my mind:
It’s Ando from Heroes!I wish I had as many celebrity interactions as CareyGLY. I think he meets a celebrity every week, if not every day. Check out his posts and you’ll won’t have to search long before you see a familiar face in one of his many pictures. I guess living in Los Angeles really increases one’s chance of bumping into a star.
What an awesome coverIt’s almost criminal how beautifully skylar_rose can write. Did you know she has a book out that you can buy at Barnes & Noble? Surely not many people can say that.
Every time I see a new cake created by Joanna_said_SO, I am utterly amazed at her shear talent. Her creativity blows my mind. If she ever agrees to it, I would seriously hire her to make my wedding cake (and every other cake now that I think about it).
Swap places with me, please?Luvs_u has an attractive occupation. She goes all over the place doing make-up for shoots. I would love to live a day in her shoes and see all that she gets to see. Did I mention she has done work with Playboy girls?
So yes, I’m a firm believer that everyone has their own interesting and unique stories to tell the world. If I’m interesting, I think I’m only about as interesting as everyone else.

Being interesting is relative. It’s funny how similar our lives are and a lot of times I don’t think I’m very interesting at all. I think people see us better than we see ourselves. :0)
I wish I could meet lots of celebrities like caregly. Makeup artist is the best job ;D I think luvs_u has good connections! XD
@sonychak - I absolutely loooooooove Joanna’s cakes… as thu mentioned. Have seen the Luvs_u name around, but haven’t exchanged too much conversation, and the 1st person is a mystery to me. Perhaps I’ll take notice sometime soon.
You’re interesting as yourself, but also because of the interesting people you interact with. Taking a look at a person’s friends can tell you a lot about them, and yours shouts interesting! Really cool people you listed, would love to get to know more folks when I have the time.
Reading what some of these people do inspires me to stop being so lame.

I think you are very interesting because you have great ideas, which are reflected in your blogs, and because you are still modest. You are basically uber cool.
You’re very interesting with the videos you make! I’m sure when Michelangelo was working on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, he might have been considered boring in his off-hours. But people with talent in what they do can’t really be considered boring.

I’m flattered and honoured to be included on this list. I wouldn’t call myself interesting, though, but it’s cool to know that people would view me as such.
You are most definitely an interesting person and I would be crazy to say anything else. Furthermore, you’re exceptional kindness makes you stand apart from the crowd. So too does your humility. It is my belief that good people are interesting people because they see the wonder in life.

hahah… that’s kind of you. I’m normally not lame, but lately, I’ve been extremely lame. I get up, teach, write, go to the gym, eat, write, and go to bed. Repeat. Sometimes, I’ll throw in some wood stacking because I have a wood stove and someone has to do that. But truly, not much going on until I can get some of this dissertation written.

Other Xangans are pretty interesting…makes me feel so average too
Everybody’s interesting! Just because someone’s been all over the world or gets to work in the Playboy mansion for the day doesn’t mean the rest of us are ‘less interesting’…sometimes it’s called opportunity and sometimes even referred to as luck.
I think some people seem interesting on Xanga because we naturally talk about the most interesting parts of our lives. All of those people do seem to lead pretty cool lives.
Xangans are so awesome, period!

I’m jealous of all the traveling you get to do.
I don’t know you as well as some of the others, but I’d say you’re interesting as well as extremely nice. I don’t find myself particularly interesting either. I’m a slave to the hospital I work at, I am a gym rat and I like to cook/bake. I used to travel a lot, but I haven’t had the time with my work schedule.
Alex, you met the most Xangans out of everyone on here! I don’t even know if I will ever meet that many Xangans in my lifetime! And pretty much everyone who met you thinks you are the most genuine, kind, and caring guy there is. You’re just like how you portray yourself on line! I think you’re more than just interesting, you’re wonderful! =oD

Wow, thanks for the shoutout. I’ve been away from my computer for a few days. I even forgot to post that Ando picture on my blog, LOL. But yeah, I do see celebs here nearly every day. I could never blog about them all. Sometimes you don’t even know they’re names, but they’re character actors that you’ve seen a million times in a million things. It is a fun place to live! Your life is plenty interesting though, and it’s supported by your huge following here! Plus you’re a great big brother! Keep up the good work Alex!

Wow. All I can say is that I’m a film major and random things happen to me? I’m just normal as you Alex. But hey, what’s wrong with that? It just means that our stories are even greater to tell because when things happen they’re of epic proportions!
