O man, I just realized July 4th is coming up and I have no plans!  What’s everyone else doing?  Care if I join ?

I’ve also decided that I should grow out some of my facial hair on my
chin and mustache area, so i can appear a little bit more older.

For my tennis folks:  check out this video of some tennis

Tennis Camp is over!  It’s been a great experience and I really
hope I can do more of this in the future.  I learn so much from
this camp, as well as gotten to know some great folks.  And of
course I can’t forget about the free Adidas stuff  .  I also found out that I’m getting paid too!   OOOOoo yeaa!!

Adidas just keeps on giving!  Today, the counselors all got even
more goodies:  a hat, a bottle, lanyard, 2 nice shirts, 2 shorts,
and 6 pairs of socks.  Damn, we’re starting to look like we are
being sponsored!

We were bored once more tonight, so what did we do?

Not bad at all really.  Nice group of kids and we all had a lot of
fun today.  I feel bad for one of the kids though; he’s only 9 and
his skill level is not near where everyone else is.  I’m not sure
what we will do…

Did I mention it was freakin HOT today?!?!?!?!!!  Good thing i was
doing most of the running; i just fed balls to those that were most of
the time haha.  It’s only gonna get hotter throughout the
week…one order of toasted Chan coming up!

tomorrow starts at 6am!  Maybe I should go get some rest…

From the 18th-23rd I will be staying at UMBC to help out at an Adidas Tennis Camp.  I will not be paid BUT I get a bunch of benefits:
-Free housing (single in Harbor!)

-Getting a chance to work with the varsity tennis coach
-Free freakin shoes!

A lot of big things have been going on in my life, which I’m not ready to put down.  All I can say is aiya…

OC and NJ Trip

I’ve been away on vacation for the past 5 days or so.  What can I
say?  I had a lot of fun at both places.  Ate so much seafood
down in OC i could have explode.  New Jersey was really pleasant
too.  However, I really do need to figure out somethings…but

New Job and my Psych Research

I started working at my new job today.  I work at Nationwide,
under this guy my parents and I know from our restaurant days.  So
far it seems alright..I work about 15 hours a week (hopefully more) at
$10/hr, so not bad.  I hope it can get a little bit more exciting
though; i dont mind the filing that much, but i hope i can do some more
typing things.  We’ll see how it turns out…

The other “job” i sorta have is my psych research for my PSYC 397
class.  I’m doing my hours in the summer so i dont have to worry
about it during my busy fall semester.  The people and hours are
good, however…you know what I’m doing right?  I’m
going w/ a graduate student to do home visits of families with a
delinquent teenager (whom has proabably been arrested multiple times)
in and around baltimore county.  O yea, and most of my home visits will be from 6-9pm.

Yikes right?  I’m pretty nervous about it, especially with all the
things we talked about that could happen in a worse case scenerio, such
the domestic violence and presence of a weapon while in the home. 
However, I’m hoping it wont be too bad…the graduates students who
have been doing this for a couple of years now said they havent had any
real problems so far.  Plus, we are giving interviews after they
have gone through treatment, so we aren’t doing the harder job. 
Also more or less they family wants us to be there.  Still, pray
that I won’t get shot while walking through a rough neighborhood

Meade High spring concert

Not bad (im mad that they charge us 5 bucks this year to go in
tho!).  Felt kinda awkward tho; i dont know much of the bands
folks anymore, and the ones i do know have either changed a lot or I
have not talk to in a while.  It was even kinda awkward eatting
out afterwards at Friday’s.  We all have different lives now..

Even looking at myself, im trying to figure out what’s going on with me right now.  I hope I can figure out things soon…

but anyways…

Grades

Grade Report for Spring 2006

Yep, grades are out and I’m really happy with this semester because I
thought I wouldn’t be able to repeat my past two semesters.  Maybe
I can get summa cum laude when i graduate *shrugs*  Honestly, it
really doesn’t matter.  I just need to keep my grades up so i can
stay in the running for potential scholarship money (which i most
certainly need)
