  • Some good news:
    -My
Spanish professor is such an awesome lady! first she gave everybody
full credit for the oral evaluation (we didn’t even do one!), then she
gave me all check plus on assignments she forgot to put in her grade
book (because she said that i “always get them anyways” which isnt
quite true but o well) and finally she encourage us to persuade her to
give us extra credit on the final (which she is)! Me so happy.

    -I
found out that i shouldnt worry too much about keepin that A in
abnormal psych. My average right now is a 94, so i really just need to
get at least an 80 to keep an A. My lowest exam score so far has been
an 82, and that one didnt have the case studies which i think i’ll do
    very well.

-My boss at the Pro Shop said that he is gonna try to
make the Pro Shop a work place next year instead of a work study place
because, since work study budget has been cut 25% for this upcoming
year, there are only 70 kids w/ work study! in the entire school! So
hopefully i can keep that job there because come on, gettin paid 7 an
hour for practically doing nothing? I’ll take that baby!

    -I won
my first complete tennis match today against niez 6-2 6-1. I didnt
exactly win during the tennis tournament and before that i had not have
a full match since last fall…but still, i forgot how it feels to win.
    Thats something…right? right? or not..

    Bad news:
    -I
STILL have not start writing my research paper! I found some sources
today, but im not sure if i’ll beable to use them for my paper…i have
til monday to finish this up. Sunday I will have the whole day
basically, but friday and saturday not really. Come on Alex…stop
    procrastinating…

-Lately my neck and upper back/shoulders are
bothering me more than before…I really need to see someone about this
soon…or maybe some lucky person can massage me…yes?

    -I
worried that I wont get that aeropostale job and by the time i find out
American Eagle would have hired all the employees it needed. I hope
that doesnt happen because i need a lot of money…i guess i can try to
apply to a few more stores tomorrow. O yea gotta get somethign for
    heather. What and where…

alright, im gonna go work on my research paper…i think…

  • I need your help guys.  Where should I work:  Aeropostale or
American Eagle?  Aeropostale seems like a better working
environment, but AE is a bigger store…however AE will pay not so much
(6 an hour) while Aeropostale hasnt told me how much i would get
paid…but it will depend on my experience, which i have.

    Which one????

Man, what has happen to me?  i didnt use to dress in the type of
clothes they sell…o whats goin on?  haha.  Well i still
    have my athletic clothes.

    Gotta get this research paper..started…

  • Grace, i hope you will be ok.  Give me a call if you need someone to talk to…I’m always here for ya.

Anybody wanna come watch Crash this Friday w/ me?  just give me a heads up.

I may take up a research job for psychology…hey it would be 3 extra
creds!  I also went to the American Eagle interview…yea, it
sounded great until we talked about salary…6 dollars an hour?!
thats goin back to my first job’s pay!  I think i may have to pass
on this unless they give raises often or if this is my only
option…we’ll see after tomorrows interview w/ aeropostale.

Then the tennis tournament…it was kinda cool.  brought back some
bad memories tho…gosh, why didnt i stay singles last year?
probalby could have had a lot more wins…o well.  hung out w/
niez for the most part.  Poor Meade…well i hope the girls can
    pull through tomorrow.  Good luck!

…and i STILL havent started on my research paper!  Alright, im
definitely gonna start on it tomorrow…yes i gotta….dont wait til
    the last minute alex!

  • Wow, am I a lucky biatch or what?  Since I have been doing pretty
good in english class my professor told me that i dont have to take the
final exam (which is worth 20% of my grade) and instead will just give
me a 100%.  I still have to do the research paper that i put off
til the last week…but HELL YEA~!!!

All day today ive been feeling…tired.  And i know why too, but i dont wanna say why
reasons includes that tennis tournament on saturday, frisbee and
“stuff” yesterday, and bad sleep last night.  still dumb old me i
still gotta go work out today…but i only lasted 20 minutes before i
felt the fatigued taking over me.

I did a lot of job hunting today.  I may work at either american
eagle, aeropostale, quiksilver, or guess in the mall.  I’m also
applying for jobs at umbc too….i hope it works out.

And that’s it…make sure you go see Crash people!  best movie Ive seen all year, although Sin City comes pretty close…

  • Tennis tournament was fun!  I lost in the end, but I played
decently enough and I had tough competition.  Come on, me and my
partner had to play a mix team where the guy was on the UMBC tennis
team his freshman year and the girl was a STATE doubles champ!  at
    least i got a t-shirt tho

    –edit–
I did end up being a “lucky loser”; me and my partner were the
runner-up in doubles.  Dont feel bad for me, I’m pretty happy w/
how the tournament turn out to be.
    –edit—

o yea jesse…thanks for canceling on me at 4:30 in the morning!  haha its alright tho.

now im burnt and stuff.  Look how dark my shoulder is:

i bet ray is happy about this, which is disturbing

  • I’ve been elected to be recruitment chair for FYC!  Along w/ being
a VP for CSA and being president of Tennis club i got a lot of
responsibilities next year.  let see how i do.

I should really start working on my research paper in English this
weekend.  Its due in less than 2 weeks and he assigned the paper
to us 3 weeks ago…and i havent looked at it for 3 weeks.

Tennis tournament tomorrow at UMBC courts starting at 10am!  come cheer me on!

    school year’s almost over…

Hey, this was in the umbc’s newspaper and now its on college humor!

  • Crash was an AWESOME movie!  Without spoiling much, it deals with the
racism and stereotypes of people and how people are not always what
they appear to be.  As one character says, “You think you know
yourself, but you have no idea.”  Different characters are put into
compromising situations and you feel for each character because not
only do know their bad side you also know the good in them too.  This
movie really makes you think about the world around you and yourself.
Go see it if you can.

So yes, yesterday was grrrreat.  Also whippin Frankie, Crystal, and Ray
simultaneously in tennis was fun too haha…just playing of course.

    94.3 average in abnormal psych!

So many things happening at once, and none good:

    edit———

Damn, I play tennis from 1:30 til like 7 today (i did take a little
break..).  My forearms are so sore right now!  I hope i do
    well at the tournament saturday…
