Oh Those Canadians! My Toronto Xanga Meet
I’m back from an unforgettable trip to Toronto this past weekend! A few months ago, I decided to go after a few Xangans in that area requested I visit. I didn’t really put it out there that I was doing a Toronto meet up, but I did mention it several times in my blogs and pulses in case anyone was interested in hanging out. In the end, I hung out with a decent sized group of Xangans that did a great job making me feel at home.
Note: This will be a very long recap post with a lot of pictures (most taken by @azurerecollections), so get ready!
FRIDAY: Markham and Hamilton
The trip started off shaky. I was suppose to get to Toronto at 11:30am, but I didn’t arrive until 2:30pm. Why? My connecting flight in Boston couldn’t take off because our flight attendant was stuck in a NYC airport! I felt bad for the people waiting for me since we were suppose to grab lunch. Instead, we skipped that on our itinerary (which @azurerecollections created for all of us. Such a BAUSS!) and went straight to Pacific Mall, one of the largest indoor Asian malls in North America (according to Wikipedia!)While there, I toured, ate, and took sticky pics with @suuperstar, @caeliosophy, @unfathomablelove and @azurerecollections.
I haven’t done one of these since I visited Hong Kong back in late 2007!
If I had those on my bed I would forever get the munchies
@suuperstar trying to imitate Domo and @caeliosophy being oblivious to what I’m about to do muhahahaTo end the day, @azurerecollections and I departed for Hamilton afterward for dinner with @TheHealthRabbit. So nervous I would eat badly in front of her! (j/k)
Seafood’s generally healthy, right? Whatever, nomnomnom!
SATURDAY: Downtown TorontoEverybody from Friday (except for poor @suuperstar who had to study for two tests), in addition to @kinamorata and @dobserver, met up Saturday morning at Crepes a Go-Go for some yummy crepe breakfast.
We made a short pit stop at Dundas Square (apparently the Time Square of Toronto)…
Not quite sure what we were doing here…before checking out the University of Toronto!

A scene from a Cyanide & Happiness comic strip we’re reenacting. Stay tuned to my next post for the completed product!We next did a bunch of walking and window shopping through Kensington Market (sells eclectic stuff), Chinatown (sells Chinese stuff if I remember correctly), and Queen Street (sells hipsters stuff).
During this time, @sophannieta joined our ragtag group.
She introduced me to poutine (which I kept mispronouncing as a certain naughty word) and gave me the intriguing history behind it.
Oh interesting, verrry interestingAfter an encounter with a homeless man trying to sell us fake cocaine (we didn’t buy any!), we went to check out the CN Tower/Roger Centre area.
It just so happens The International India Film Academy (IIFA) Awards were taking place at the time. Have you heard Fire by Raghav? I haven’t, but it appears to be a popular song in Canada. Well, that guy was singing a free concert so we stayed around for that!
Cuz I’m on FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE TONIGHT!!For dinner, we arrived at the Distillery District to eat some raw oysters. It was the first time for most of us, so it was fun trying out different kinds from around the country.
Aren’t we classy? We’re so classy, we gorged on pizza at the hotel afterward.
Others passed out from the long, tiring daySUNDAY: Toronto Island, Taste of Asia Festival, Joanna’s 21st Birthday?, and Karaoke
Sunday was my last full day in Toronto. @kinamorata, @azurerecollections, @TheHealthRabbit and I took a ferry over to Centre Island to start off the day. It felt like half of the Asians in Toronto were there with us since there was dragon boat racing going on that weekend. We watched for a little bit, but then went over to the docks, the beaches (including the clothing optional one), and did some two seated bikes across the island.
When we first mentioned biking, @kinamorata was grumbling about doing it since she’s not the outdoorsy type. Shortly after we got on, she started getting all into it and we started racing! At some point, my bike chain fell off so @azurerecollections and I had to get our hands dirty to fix it. We walked through a tiny dirt path towards the coastline to wash our hands in the lake. I turned my head to the right and suddenly got a face-full of naked old men (and maybe some old women too, but I wasn’t staring long enough to find out!). Yep, I can now say I’ve visited a nude beach with Xangans!
Ignore the hot face I’m makingAfter coming back from the island, we headed back over to Pacific Mall again to check out this festival called The Taste of Asia (which, btw, is where the other half of the Asian population were at). I walked a few feet into the festival when I suddenly heard someone call out my name. I looked over to see it was @getyourownsandwich!
What a crazy coincidence bumping into her randomly!Unfortunately she couldn’t join us for dinner, where we met up with @Joanna_said_SO (finally!) and the Xangan formerly known as slutburger_with_cheese. Look what Joey brought for everyone:
I can now say for a fact that her cakes are not only amazing to look at but also amazing to taste. So much sugary goodness!
Funny story: The waitresses thought it was a birthday cake, which we jokingly said it was for Joey’s 21st birthday. At the end of our meal, we suddenly heard the birthday song playing throughout the restaurant. Oh no they didn’t…oh yes they did! The waitresses all came out to wish Joey a happy 21st birthday and gave her a birthday drink! To say she was blushing is an understatement.
Aw, the birthday girl was so happy!
At least she got free alcohol out of the deal!The final group thing we did was some old fashion karaoke. FYI, be careful when @Joanna_said_SO says a place is just down the street. Her definition means the place is actually a 30 minute walk X_X!!
Karaoke was fun though. It took a while for everyone to sing, but after they heard my not-singing I think they felt a little less embarrassed to try it out.
Look at her belting out some Ke$haMy trip has come to an end. The last Canadian thing I did was eat a meal at Tim Hortons (a super popular food place) with @azurerecollections and @TheHealthRabbit.
With that, my time in Canada was over. I don’t know when I will be back, but I hope it’s sooner rather than later. Toronto has a lot of good people and there were so many other Xangans there I didn’t get a chance to hang out. Next time, my friends.
P.S. In before “everyone’s Asian!”

Glad you had fun! This weekend will be fun too and I will bring the cane
@theHealthRabbit - I found him first. You can have sloppy seconds.
Tdot is GREAT and I so wanted to crash your party :-p I’ll do my own sometime soon!
Awesome! GOD I LOVE P-MALL… Sorry I couldn’t make it!
Glad you had a wonderful time in Toronto! The Xanga cake looks awesome.

the next Xanga Meet Up will be in Indonesia
Glad you had a good time here. It looks like you guys did a lot of driving around on the weekend. That’s an awesome looking cake!
Minor correction – you didn’t wash your hand at the ocean, that was Lake Ontario.
Adventures of Alex
I’m just surprised that fountain on the Island was so empty – apparently guys from my school stripped down there one year….
I seriously hope you had a box of at least 20 Timbits (blueberry ones are too good….yes, I’m still day dreaming about them)
Great shots. I always heard there was an anti-gravity area beneath the CN tower but now I have visual confirmation. =)
Look at you! Always surrounded by ladies!
One of these days we’ll create our own memories, Alex. =P
@fabolousclown - Word.
Y’all need to have an international one! Besides Canada.
Wow you guys are all kinds of creative with those cameras! Looks like you had SO MUCH FUN!
That is one gangster cake. Soo pretty. =D
Wtf, Kensington doesn’t sell “random stuff”… it’s more rasta, if anything. Where did you come from?
Hey, we’re all Asians at heart! This looked like an excellent, comprehensive Toronto jaunt. Yes! to Queen Street, Chinatown and the Lake (sorry, Alex, no salt in Lake Ontario). Side benefit- i get to reconnect with Joanna.
Nice to see you enjoyed our city – and visited the building that has haunted me in the form of year 1 & 2 uni classes!
That cake is amazing, btw. Props!
@TheTheologiansCafe - lol. It seems that way in Toronto. But head North (or anywhere outside the GTA area, really), it’s almost all white people.
What happened to the nude beach!?!? And if that guy were selling real cocaine, would you have bought it? Lol
We all try to have a good time, and you are hogging the fun. Get a hobby, learn money management. Your desire to be around many new people is like an illness in you. Sorry for the honesty, but ruler know best
@llamalima - I can’t believe she made that in only a few hours!
@BoysShootingBottles - Ah sorry, I just wrote that down because that’s how my friend described that location in the itinerary. I’m from the VA/MD area.
@RighteousBruin - You get to reconnect with Joanna? How does that work?
@loving_emerald - Ah cool, are you still in the Toronto area?
@oOo_itsJuJu - I wrote briefly about it, but had no pictures from the beach part. And no, I wouldn’t have bought..that much. J/k
@RulerofMasons - It’s through my money management that I can do these types of trips buddy. What can I say, I love my traveling hobby.
john should hire you so you can be an official part of the xanga team
Didn’t buy any of that fake cocaine? Shameeee! You can get some in Vancouver if you come!
@theHealthRabbit - Not sure if I can promise that. I can’t help looking around at my environment! I miss you too.
@CaKaLusa - Wish you could have found some way up there too. We would have ruled the town together! TEAM ASSCAT!
@nerdyveggiegirl - A lot of things worked out well this past weekend! I’m very lucky
@ShimmerBodyCream - We’re not jumping, we’re levitating!
@silverlocket_88 - Haha, well apparently it’s because you don’t wanna attend meet ups!
@prettykay04 - TRUST ME, you wouldn’t want to see the nude beach photos X( . Yes, either Montreal or Vancouver next time! Unless, I go back to Toronto haha
@i_am_not_short - I’m surprise they didn’t ask her for her ID! Other places normally do.
@quiet_shadow - It really is great, although I’m not sure about those gas prices. Aiya!
@jmeLove_x - What part of CA are you at again? I’m suppose to visit the LA area next time and I’ll probably check out the Bay Area again.
@misajour - Guilty pleasure!
@kinamorata - Sounds ggrreat! Hopefully my chain doesn’t fall off my bike this time!
@suuperstar - if you had came on Saturday it could have been S Club 7 =(
@TheTheologiansCafe - Nope, none whatsoever!
@AdamsWomanFell - Those memories will not be leaving any time soon!
@partofrainbow - Somewhere in between it was S Club 8 or 9 haha
@remiblanc2011 - I wonder if they were a lot more popular in Canada than US? I heard them mentioned a few times on the trip.
@sabbygurl - Really?? Oh man, you should have PM me so we could get our contact info swapped! You owe me a visit next time!
@happyobligations - Yeah, I really liked how that photo came out. Azurerecollections is fantastic!
@eternal_relevance - Next time just say screw the exams!!
@caeliosophy - Just a tad haha
@InStealthMode - We were unbelievably tired after Saturday! Next time we should schedule less places to go haha
@Roadlesstaken - I’m in Santa Cruz, which is closest to San Francisco/Bay Area–but if there were to be a meet here I’d totally travel anywhere in CA!
@getyourownsandwich - VERY. Did you instantly recognize me or did you take a moment to figure it out?
@Coffee_Kaioken - That’s all Canada has, clearly
@livexlovexlaughter - You really don’t want to see the people on that beach haha
@SuperRat - In this case, it was JFK that was having delays, which delayed me in Boston! But yeah, next time maybe I’ll just fly to Buffalo and drive from there.
@HeLLo_Bianca - Such an old woman already! Yes, this weekend should be fun too.
@GreekPhysique - You could have, I wouldn’t have mind!
@nimbusthedragon - How often have you gone?
@suefa_lee - Joanna is the BAUSS!
@ItIsAllGravy - Clearly I steal. How else?
@Dobserver - I know right? Dan’s the man with the master plan!
@LKJSlain - Did you go everywhere I went to?
@pcketfulofsunshine - Hey, there were a few guys there too! Haha, I actually almost thought it was only going to be me and one other guy before. Glad we had a couple last minute folks making it!
@unfathomablelove - Was that the Korean version of Happy Birthday? I dig it better than the regular one!
@fabolousclown - You’re paying for my ticket, right?
@ElusiveWords - Changed! What were your thoughts of the Taste of Asia?
@BenelliMan - Just doing my thing!
@JoeytheGenie - I guess everybody was too busy dragon boat racing! Did you do anything cool this past weekend? I had a 10 pack timbits. Pretty tasty!
@SoullFire - Indeed, the proof is here!
@Southeast_Beauty - Yeah we do! If I invited you to a NYE party at my place in VA would you be able to come? International ones are doable, but they just cost more money and time!
@Diva_Jyoti_3 - Azurerecollections deserves most of the credit. He’s a fantastic photographer and man in general.
@jmeLove_x - Cool, will keep you in mind next time I visit CA (which will probably be sometime this year). Have you heard about the LA meet up LKJSlain is trying to set up?
@eatandrant - Hmm…OKAY! Accept credit card?
@petitetokio - Wouldn’t that be something? Hmm…
@Roadlesstaken - I was sub’d to her when I was cyberbear. I sent a friends request tonight.
@RighteousBruin - !! You’re cyberbear? Didn’t realize you returned! Welcome back.
LOL seems like a rather complete visit to Canada, what with a visit to a nearby Timmy’s!
next stop vancouver
DDD
i love that picture of you and sophannieta!
PS good photography work @azurerecollections!
aw dangit tagging doesnt work in comments @azurerecollections@azurerecollections@azurerecollections
@Roadlesstaken -
there will be a next time!!
@kaiori - Which one, the first one or the one where we’re thinking? Yeah, sucks tagging doesn’t work here!
@Loniii - Man Timmy’s was delicious! I’m craving some now!
Looks like fun!
The cookie pillow looks delicious bahaha, how’d it taste? xD
@Roadlesstaken - ahahahahaha,S CLUB FLEXIBLE!
Looks like you all had a lot of fun. =) If you ever decide to pass through Kentucky or West Virginia, stop by here and I’ll make you some food.
Fap, Fap… Fap, Fap, Fap
i can’t wait to hear more
and to see the CH reenactmentsss!!
Haha, she’s just being modest, she actually spent the whole week before making that replica of Toronto. =P
come back again soon!
I find it funny you randomly bumped into Getyourownsandwich. Anyhow, sounds like it was a ton of fun
I wouldn’t call it a Toronto Xanga meet.
I’d call it an Asians Only Xanga meet that happened to take place in Toronto.
Wonderful tale of fun!! It’s great to see everyone having a fantastic time!! But where are the nude beach photos?
that is an AMAZING cake! =)
Awesome pics! Glad you had fun!
OMG I WANT THAT CAKE!
It looks like an awesome time in Toronto!
I met some Torontonians (is that right?) on my first trip to Europe and they told me that local Torontonians aren’t too friendly on the street. (I.e. They don’t say hi or smile randomly) But it looks like these Torontonians are the exception!
I was actually in Toronto when I was 16 for World Youth Day. That was so long ago now! 2002! And I missed out on going to the space needle looking thingie!
Hahah @ “Like a Bauss!”
Great Fun! This was a blast to read.
Hahaha you crack me up, A.
Great pics and captions
Looks like it was a lot of fun!
fun!! and awesome looking cake ~
Wow big post Cool!
Will read it when i got more time, but for now that ‘Yoink!’ expression totally made me LOL hehehe
You didn’t take pics of the NUDE beach? =O lol, j/k (I seriously never knew we had a nude beach here..)
Poutine = poot-teeeen. Not ‘poutang’!! Tsk tsk.
Nice that you concluded your trip Canadian style with Tim Hortons hahaha.
Looks like you had a great trip!
@XxTwIx_N_sKiTtLeSxX - Doesn’t taste like cookie, unfortunately
@the_rocking_of_socks - DEAL!!
@sonychak - explosion
@swtaznxtc90 - Sunday, I will tell you more!
@Joanna_said_SO - Will try. Hope to see you at NYE!
@sumoneoverthere - Crazy coincidence!
@Bricker59 - They were the ones that responded when I asked about meeting up initially, so can’t help that. I am an Asian blogger that’s visiting a city with a strong Asian population, so that shouldn’t come as a surprise haha. We happened to be all Asian, but that is far from the most interesting thing about each of us =) . Now that I know you’re in that area I’ll give you a heads up if I make my way over there again.
@armnatmom - Didn’t take any, but trust me when I say you probably wouldn’t want to see!
@canadiansrock - We were all gushing about it when we saw it. So amazing!
@Hinase - Thanks, I’m glad I did too
@AmeliaHart - After hanging out in DC and NY, if Torontonians weren’t polite I had not notice!
@estadquietos - A pleasure to keep you entertained!
@jdrop - @TimRosenberger - Thanks! It was too much fun.
@charlesworth - It’s crazy how talented she really is.
@BFB1131 - Yeah, I think there was no way around making this post not big because we did sooo much!
@Keeko1 - Haha, I was waiting for someone to comment on poutine! It’s delicious. Of course, I’m referring to poutine.
how about a xanga meet filled with asians, in ASIA, for once…
@maniacsicko - Wanna fund my trip? It’s expensive!
@Roadlesstaken - hahah So true! City folk aren’t exactly brimming with sunshine and rainbows – the same with Philly! The nicest people I’ve met was actually in South Bend, Indiana. We were kinda floating around a parking lot trying to figure out where to go and a guy far away across the street yelled out to us asking if we were ok and if we need directions? haha!
You guys look like you had an amazing time and the pics are lovely
Dear Alex,
When I saw those cookie pillows I thought I was having an acid flashback for a moment.
I spent two weeks in Toronto back in the early aughts and fell in love with the place. You covered all the high points. (CN Tower, high point, get it?) This looks like it was an even better meetup than NYC by the amount of places covered. Somebody is planning an LA Meet I saw the other day, and they’re going to Disneyland. (A place I try to stay AWAY from as much as possible)
The “birthday cake” is to die for. How did the CN Tower taste?
Michael F. Nyiri, poet, philosopher, fool
@baldmike2004 - What’s wrong with Disneyland? Isn’t it suppose to be fun? Oh, the CN Tower tasted like diabetes haha. So much sugar, but yummy!
@boyhnc - Thanks, it was quite the memorable weekend!
@Roadlesstaken - Alex. Nothiing “wrong” with Disney. (In fact, I plan on another week long Disney WORLD trip as soon as I can afford it. ) Let me explain myself a bit cause I’m a special case. LOL.. 1. I grew up in L.A. and began going on yearly trips to Disneyland at the age of 12. My favorite ride had just opened up. “The Pirates of the Carribean.” 2. My senior “ditch day” in high school was held at Disneyland. 3. Every time I go to Disneyland I end up buying a collectible. 4. My ex girlfriend is a Disneyholic. One of the reasons we finally broke up was because all she ever wanted to do was go to Disneyland. (She met her current boyfriend on a Disney social site, and it’s a match made in Fantasyland!) 5. I love Disneyland, but usually only go once every three or four years. I know each brick by heart. 6. (and most importantly, since I’m on a budget.) It now costs ALMOST 100 BUCKS to go there. MFN/ppf
@baldmike2004 - There’s a Disney social site? Wow. Okay, I understand your feelings toward Disneyland now haha
Lol your random meet up with Paulina was so awesome! And nice to finally see you and Joey together…(no malice whatsoever!) :p
@oxyGENE_08 - Except she kept telling me I was not-singing, not-rapping, and not-shuffling whenever I did my thing haha. On the other hand, she’s bad at gauging distance it seems! Ah, fun times.
Every Xanga meetups just get better! Awesome!
@Roadlesstaken - Oh, boo! I understand about the pics… Part of your secret stash. Haha, jk. And thanx for your honesty about the coke part! =)
@Roadlesstaken - i looked over and was like that guy looks familiar. and i was like OMG it’s alex! you look the same since i last saw you sooo…yeah.
@Roadlesstaken - I don’t know abou some of the restuarants, but I was at the CN tower, and the Ontario River, etc.
@getyourownsandwich - Haha really? My hair’s in a slightly different style now.
@SillyHelena - Each meet up has been memorable in their own special way =D
LOL! i loved the playboy cover =D
good job as always with the overall success of the meet!
Lol just missed you, im flying back to toronto in 4 days!
-b.
@jie_b - Perhaps next time I visit!
@ThePrince - Thanks, it was a great time spent with everyone!
Sounds like a really fun time!
@Roadlesstaken - She’s COOL!!!
This looks like such a fun meet-up! I’m glad you got to eat some poutine & Tim’s
. Joanna’s cake looks drool-worthy!!
@CaKaLusa - nuh-uh. he just told me that i found him before you. take that
Glad you liked your visit to Cana-
duh
! BTW, how did you know that was fake coke the bum was selling?
I’m a short distance from Toronto – only about 100 miles but wish you could visit and really see more of this place sometime. You ever have a chance to get back here, check out Calgary – especially around “Stampede” week. Spend a month, a year in Canada and see what this place is like. I’ve been here 50 years and it’s still amazing to me!
awesome blossom! love the pictures and there was a lot of asianness going on, haha. the whole trip sounded really fun and makes me wanna go now!
*awww* you had so much fun!!
haha – and the raghav fire song plays almost every day where I work …
@DickDoktorII - Because he threw it away after we said no haha. Calgary eh? Will do!
@wyrdkismet - Asians like to hang out with me I guess!
@babixling - Yeah? I seriously have not heard of that song before, but it’s so catchy!
@Roadlesstaken - so vellie vellie catchy ~ is it in your head now ?
awe, looks like so much fun! glad you had a good time in Toronto! =)
@babixling - YES, I’m playing it on YouTube right now!
@SWEETxN0VEMBER - I’m glad too =)
The cake is beautifull!! looks like a fun group of xanga friends you have!
@thesa_chiba - Toronto does have a lot of good people =)
@Roadlesstaken - i am torontonian myself. falling out of xanga recently cuz not many people i know use it anymore =(
@thesa_chiba - Yeah, Xanga is quite old school. A lot of my friends left too, which is why I branched out to the community to find more people. It was a wonderful decision as I’ve met so many amazing people here in the past couple of years. If you need me to recommend people to check out let me know.
@Roadlesstaken - thanks for the add. yeah, i started using xanga in highschool but many of us have “grown out of it” i guess? its all fb, twitter, tumblr now. actually, none of my friends us xanga anymore haha but there are many interesting reads out here on xanga so i still come here often.
@thesa_chiba - Who else do you read?
@Roadlesstaken - i’ve been subscribed to jiggs many years ago. he actually met his wife on xanga lol i also read some random and featured posts here and there
There are Tim Hortons all over Michigan, for the record. We actually got sick of seeing them at one point during a road trip. There’s a Crepes a Go-Go right near my house too! In Maryland. This looks like yet another epic adventure. You lead an exciting life.
@vicdaily - …WUT? Haha, so I went all the way to Toronto to eat at a crepes places that right in my home state?? Yeah, they did mention there were some Tim Hortons in the US but they’re no where near as popular as they are in Canada.
omgggg.. you guys looked like you had such a blast!!! ><;;;;
awesome. glad you liked our turf. =)
Hey, you wouldn’t mind if I asked you a few questions would you? I don’t think we have ever talked. I’m more of a shadow lurker. I don’t blog often, and when I am on I go and do my own thing. This probably sounds petty, but I wanted to kind of interview you, as well as a few others.. The reason being that I guess when I take a look over your site you seem totally full of yourself. And, I’m not trying to bag on you, I’m trying to get to know you. There’s about a handful of xangans I just don’t like. I don’t like AlluringAddiction. I don’t like Loborn. I don’t like moonfay or whatever her site name is. Might be just me. I do not like people that are concerned with themselves, and I don’t like selfishness. Or a will or want to put someone else down. So.. here are my list of questions.
1. What do you believe is most important in life?
2. If there were three things you could to to create change around the world what would they be?
3. What do you believe defines you?
4. If you could go back in time and change something, what would you change?
5. What is something you could not live without?
6. What are your favorite types of books?
7. What do you define as strength?
8. What do you define as courage?
9. Is there a side of you that you rarely show?
10. What attaches you to Xanga?
So many Asians doing so many Asian things.
On another note, I like Toronto. Looked like a lot of fun.
@morningmoka - It was a lot of fun, definitely!
@mizz_fabolicious - Oh yeah, I forgot you are from Toronto! Great city you have.
@AphoticxIllusion - Hey now, I’m only half full of myself! Justtt kidding. Yeah no problem, I don’t mind answering your questions. I hope after getting to know me you find me acceptable =). I’ll private message you the answers soon.
@x_onholiday - Have you been?
@Roadlesstaken - Take your time.
@Roadlesstaken - My cousins live in Toronto so I’ve been a couple times. I love that Tim Horton’s place. But it could be because I love donuts.
@Roadlesstaken - yup, I live and study here
Though, I am going on vacation soon, so I guess not for the summer! Where are you guys from?
PS: Hope you tried the Ice Cap at Tim Horton’s! It’s amazing (albeit sugar filled).
@loving_emerald - I did try the Ice Cap! Delicious! I’m from the Virginia area. Everybody else I met up with are from Canada.
@Roadlesstaken - I thought it was just ok. It was just too packed. People couldn’t move comfortably especially parents with strollers or elderly folks. There wasn’t a lot of places to sit down to eat. Maybe they should just remove those rides, stretch out the booths (especially the stinky tofu one) and place some shaded tables for folks to relax. It seemed better when it was smaller.
@ElusiveWords - I agree with your assessment. The food was very cheap though, especially when they started closing up. they gave us 6 sticks of fishballs for 5 bucks!
Took me way too long to read and of course rec this.
But i got there….and it just made me crazy envious lol ;p next time you go to Canada i wanna come
hehe also that cake looks EPIC!!
Love the pics (S Club 6 was hilarious). It looks like you had a blast!
The cake does look freakin’ good.
Haha…looks like fun. ^_^
@BFB1131 - Haha, thanks for coming back like you said!
@SuperLuc - Is S Club 7 popular in Canada? It seems a lot of the Canadians are pointing that reference out a lot haha
@Roadlesstaken - I think I may be dating myself…lol.
aww i’m glad you had fun here
i’m surprised; you’ve never had a poutine? or was that sarcasm? and YUM oysters
i was going to check out taste of asia too .. too bad i didn’t, otherwise i might’ve bumped into you! hehe..
@jing116 - Nope, never had poutine until Toronto! That stuff is delicious. Maybe next time I visit Toronto I’ll see ya?
