Almost Time! Final Details for the July 24th NY Meet

Vanedave will be doing a comedy show for us at Maui Tacos from 6pm-7:30pm. No age limit or drinks minimum required! Vanedave is renting out the place for 100 bucks, so we would pay for example 10 bucks a head if 10 people came. I’m pretty sure we can get more than that though, so cost would be less. We’re trying to get a good estimate of who can come, so if you can let me know please.Maui Tacos

Not sure if I’m being too ambitious, but I’m gonna try to shoot a live XangaSecret video at the meet up. Here’s an idea of how it might look:If you’re going and you’re interested in helping me out let me know. I won’t say what the question will be just yet, but it will be different from the one asked in the video example. Yep, this has the potential to be very awesome…or a very big fail XP
As an incentive for participating, I will put you in a random drawing for the three prizes I’m bringing. What are they?

Yay! I’m trying to think about what I can bring..hmm. I’m down for karaoke and the comedy show. But my only concern is if I can even do those things. A lot of karaoke joints only allow 21 and over, same with clubs -_-. Darn society and their alcohol.

@Roadlesstaken - I arrive Friday night at like 11pm, but I’m meeting up with Bodhiseeker when he arrives from his train on Saturday then we’ll head on over to the meet. We’ll probably be a tad late, but hopefully there by 1.
@Roadlesstaken - I just looked. It said before 8:00 I can get in. I’ll cross my fingers for the comedy show lol. umm…also. I wanted to know if it’s okay with you, but a friend of mine doesn’t want me to go by myself. He’s also on Xanga and wants to know if he can be added in.

@Roadlesstaken - I have two foreign-exchange friends doing internships in NYC, but they are living in a house in NJ. The house is supposedly a 30-minute busride from NYC, so it’s really close to the border.

@maniacsicko - EVERYTHING! Except snorkeling. I lack a swim suit at the moment. And the ocean kind of scares me. o.o I have no idea how I swam through the Great Barrier Reef in Australia with a slight fear of the ocean, but I avoid it now. xD
@babychillax - Likewise (about not knowing names). I used to frequent Xanga wayyyyy back in the day some odd years ago but since starting again noticed that apparently tons of these meet-ups have happened. No one knows me because 1) I’m not entirely popular nor post often and 2) I have no picture. I suspect a good amount will already be buddy buddy with people from previous ones.
I’m really excited on the off chance you guys are all nice and don’t poke me with a carrot. In case I get awkward I’ll just bring a book and read in the corner hah

@babychillax - Nah, not everyone knows each other, although there are groups of people within the list that do know one another. Xanga meets are one sure way to get to know other Xangans pretty well! Worked for me.
@Roadlesstaken - Possibly…though I think that depends on when it ends. I seem to have an earlier curfew than my 13 year old sister. I have to be home by 10 pm, otherwise I get grounded for a week or something, unofficially. -.-” Takes a good hour to get home from NYC…soooo depends on where it is and when it ends.
