The “Awful” Places My New Job Sends Me
The nerves of my employer! Not only do they force me to drive down to Virginia Beach to work for only a couple hours, they make me stay down there too! They wouldn’t even let me pay for my hotel room, gas, and food! I even suggested a cheap place for me to stay, but nope, they made me stay at a resort right next to the beach instead. Sigh. To add insult to injury, they told me I should bring a friend on this trip so he can share my sad fate. Woe is me. No other man have felt greater misfortunes.
…Of course, I’m totally kidding about how much this sucks. I am very pleased with how my new job is going so far! I’ve never had a job that gave so many nice perks, so I’m definitely enjoying and appreciating it all right now. I guess I made the right decision with choosing this position.
My friend decided to sleep on the futon, so I actually had an extra bed! Too bad I couldn’t bring one of you guys along with me.I officially started my first day this past Monday and I’m already pretty busy. I’m currently traveling all around Virginia to meet up with contacts for the next couple of weeks. Soon, I will also have to start preparing to teach tennis as a secondary job. Eventually, I need to find a place to live in Northern VA so I can establish my home office. Now you know my excuse if you don’t see me around here as often (although honestly, I’ll probably find time one way or another).
Slightly off topic, but thanks for some of your responses to my last post. I was surprise how many people liked it and actually saw it, given that I made sure to post it late Friday night to avoid too much attention. It contained a lot of strong feelings I’ve been keeping inside for a while now, so it was nice to let it all out. She’s a great girl, but unfortunately another guy got to her first. Their relationship seems just fine, so I’m not going to mess with it. I’ll hopefully find someone else in the near future that’s just as wonderful and (more importantly) actually available haha. Ah, one happiness at a time I suppose. At least on the job front things are working out.

Don’t step on a jellyfish. My dad was stationed in VB during WWII and I remember him talking about getting a jellyfish sting the first time he stepped in the ocean.

I need to go back to Yukai. Next time you come down here I think you should check out Yumi Sushi. Not a buffet but they have really good specialty rolls and they’re always giving them away for free.

AHAHA..what a sucky job Alex. Damn..you have to travel, stay in a resort, and not pay for anything. How could they do this to you? And, they let you meet Xangans, ahhh..so sad! LOL..in reality, that’s a dream job. That’s a sick job. Alex, get me a job with the USTA!

what’s your new job?
I hate going places. I was so lucky as a little kid. I think I’ve been everywhere, and it’s all under the same sky. The more places you go to, the more people you have to deal with, and while you get a perk, it’s a trick because they monitor everything you do, and your sterile disposition is the greatest of all crimes.
I can’t even sit in a bar and talk to myself without someone running up and destroying me.
All I care about is money in large sums. I think I’m going to have to be a drug runner. I’m good at tennis and a few other things, but nobody would recommend me or help me because I’m really just a shallow whore or full of issues and the product of instant gratification with many lessons to learn because I saw my dad every summer and suffered but never no, because he randomly pays for things to love me more, and he’s not that terrible, just get away from me so I don’t have any more problems, weaving my service into you and my failure, no – then other people can use my frustration against me. And really, the only reason I want money is to fuel Scientology or any other thing that will let me destroy our system. I’m close to God when my pockets are emptied to charity. I would like to be a terrorist.
I want revenge on all the liars and their petty traps that don’t work and are very inconvenient to me and a waste of my time. I would also like to watch a few buildings burn to the ground in cackling rage. Aw, all your hope’s all gone.
Not yours. I’m usually happy for other’s success because life is short and boring, but I can’t be because life’s not fair or some other garbage unloaded onto me.
That’s place too awful, I can’t wait to get out of that place right away. LOL

definitely not working full time. haha. my boss tells me everyday that i need to start putting in my 6days/week ..but i’m still doing my 3days ..but then again, its like a full time job cause i put in almost 40 hours over the span of 3 days anyways!!! so yeah. =) & the other 4 days…i’m just driving up and down between md/va/nj/pa/ny …teehee! =)

Yes, I read that post too. One thing at a time. This age is hard. You’ve got to look for a job and then hopefully find someone to share your life with at the same time. Not easy…not easy…well, all things aside, I’m happy it’s finally working out and you love VA Beach! Told you that place is fun.
Keep searching and keep looking…I’m sure you’ll find a good place to stay and the right person to share it with. ^.^

Order the Hurricane and/or Quake. Candy cane is awesome as well. ughh. thinking about it makes me cry. I’ll try to find pictures
