What my brother secretly does in the bathroom (video) + Snowmageddon 2010!
I always wondered why it took my brother so long to shampoo his hair. Here’s the video proof exposing his secret:
Just a short skit video one of my friends suggested we make. Since we were already snowed in at home, we decided to go for it. Can you guess what inspired this video?
Speaking of snow, here’s what we have to deal with in Maryland this weekend!

Quick video I took yesterday while it was still snowing. We ended up getting around 3 feet of snow by the end of all this!

Even our neighbor’s hummer was no match for the snow! It got stuck almost immediately.
My brother tried to get over to our neighbor across the street to help…but quickly failed.Yes, be jealous if you didn’t get any snow this weekend. I’m having oh so much fun digging out! -___-

The snowpocalypse wasn’t quite as bad here. It was like it hit every other town around us hard, but we got less than a foot. Poor Walmart, all out of bread for nothing. :0)

I WISH I had that much snow here. The big “snow storm” that prevented me from going home was only an inch here. >.< what a disappointment. lol
1) Holy crap that’s a lot of snow. I think I would LOVE that right about now though.
2) Hummer guy seems to be displaying typical Hummer driver mentality.
3) I would totally shovel all of that out. I love shoveling snow.
4) This is a great opportunity to make use of all that snow and build a giant snow sculpture/ person/ thing.

So, was that brand Herbal Essences? I live in CT and were supposed to have a huge snowstorm over the weekend. It didn’t come by, but at least the drive was easier.
@Roadlesstaken - I don’t really know but it’s here since before Christmas. I’m so looking forward to spring!
@Bodhiseeker - The shampoo we used in the commercial wasn’t Herbal Essence actually. We thought about buying a bottle, but seeing as we were stuck at home we couldn’t haha, so we just improvised.

Watch out for roof collapses soon. Most roofs cannot take the load of snow + the water that gets into the snow when it rains, hence the roof collapses.

If I wasn’t such a practical/efficient person I’d enjoy washing my hair too. Reminds me of the Herbal Essence commercials. I like the blow drying process very much. And I know for some reason dogs are scared of the hair dryer. Don’t ask me how I know, I have no idea.
We hardly have any snow by the Great Lakes & we’re ready w the snowblower this year.

You and your brother were awesome kudos to him for doing these videos with you. As for the snow just an average winter day where I live in Canada it took over a week once for the roads to be plowed and I was stranded up at the university dorms with my friend and the guys he was dorming with at the time. My parents not happy that I was staying with 4 guys and no way to get home since I wasn’t sure where my vehicle was under the snow exactly.

@shuang_zhaohui - This is most certainly not an average winter for us haha. We usually average maybe one snow storm each winter that brings in maybe a few inches of snow. Not like this!

Growing up in Chicago in the 70′s we had a few memorable blizzards like that. I remember jumping off our roof into the snow in 1979. Good times.

@bebelic1ous - I definitely know at least a couple Xangans from Vancouver, such as skylar_rose and lil_squirrel4ever (both great bloggers btw). I tried Blogger, but Xanga is still preferable because of it’s community feel. I’ve met way to many cool Xangans to leave her, both online and in person.
Totally agree with the community feel thing. That’s cool though. I wish we had more blogger meets up in Vancouver. So are you stuck at home now that it’s snowed in?

Well we usually do, tons of it actually around this time. Kinda ironic how it’s the year where the Olympics are held in Vancouver.. yet we’re in dire need of snow. It’s the first winter in a very long while that we haven’t had massive snowfall during this season. But.. we’re stuck with the unfortunate rain lol. So missing the sunshine!

@ElusiveSoul - Yup, I’m in Maryland. Those pictures were taken in my neighborhood near Arundel Mills, so not exactly that close to Hyattsville. It’s cool to meet another MD Xangan though! There’s not that many of us.
@Roadlesstaken - Ah, Arundel Mills! I know it, even though you’re right, it’s not that close to Hyattsville. lol I have friends scattered around UMBC, UMCP, and Towson (I decided to go out of state), and it IS awesome to meet another Maryland Xangan–more power to us!
@ElusiveSoul - Ah cool. UMBC was where I went for undergrad and where I’m going now for grad school. I’ve met other Xangans in MD during meets. You should come by one in the future if you’re in town.
