Stuff That I Don’t Know (That I Probably Should)
I like to think I’m a reasonably intelligent person that strives to understand the things around my environment. I would say I’m at least competent in most areas I should know and there’s lot of random knowledge in my noggin, but of course there’s so much out there still that I don’t really know about.
Every once in a while, I’m reminded of topics that I haven’t quite pick up over the years. I’m not talking about topics that the average person doesn’t talk about on a more or less regular basis (i.e. world history, astrology, pink squirrels), but things that a lot of people just seem to know which I’ve somehow not been able to acquire. For example…
Cars
I know how to drive a car well and I understand the basic mechanics, but ask me anything else about cars and I’ll probably won’t know the answer. Specifically, I wouldn’t be able to tell you a car’s make and/or model. Apparently, different companies have distinct looks, but I never notice them. I can tell you the make and model of a tennis racket just by looking at it though! Does that give me some credit?
If you were to ask me to describe a car, I’ll probably only be able to say what color it was and whether it was a small car, a truck, or a minivan. Pretty bad huh? I guess I must have missed the car lesson growing up. How did you learn about differences in cars?
SwimmingOkay, this is more a skill than a topic I don’t know about, but I picked this because it seems like so many people know how to swim while I just fail at it. I can sort of move myself in water, but I’m rather hopeless with everything else. Is it suppose to be easy to float? Whenever I try, I just sink like a rock (I wonder if my head’s too big and heavy -_-). According to my friend, I’m not relaxed enough when I try to float, but how does one relax if they feel like they’re about to be engulfed in water?
Don’t even get me started on holding my breathe and keeping my eyes open underwater. I’ve tried, but I can’t seem to do it without water getting through my nose or the chlorine stinging me.
For now, just throw me a life vest if I ever fall into a large body of water. I’ll just chill until somebody rescue me.
Professional Football, Baseball, and Basketball
I’m not used to these balls. Where’s my fuzzy ones?Say a team name or a famous player and I can probably recognize which sport they belong to. It’s another story if you want me to discuss stats or anything else like that. I don’t know why, but I never got into those popular sports as much as everyone else. I rarely know when big games are happening until I suddenly see everyone discussing it in their newsfeed. If it means anything, I do try to follow current sport news so I’m at least aware that something happened (the Yankees won something big recently, right?).
So yes, there are many other topics I would rather you come to me about (i.e. basic technology, exercise techniques, tennis, psychology, pop culture, current events) before I recommend the topics above. If we ever get in a conversation about which type of cars are the best, which swimming techniques are the most effective, or which players really deserved to be MVP I’ll probably change the subject quickly to avoid any possible embarrassment due to my ignorance. I promise I’ll learn more about them…one of these days.

omg hahah I cannot swim either. I get so much shit for itttt. >=[
Swimming could prove very helpful at some point, however cars and sports, not so much.
I almost drowned during swimming lessons, so I’ve been afraid of swimming ever since… : (
how will we ever be able to hold a conversation again????
Well at least you can sort of propel yourself through the water! I just barely mastered floating on my back; I sink the minute I turn over onto my front. My swim instructor said guys sometimes have a harder time learning to float just cuz they tend to have lower percentage of body fat.
I’ll teach ya to swim, man. It’s an essential survival skill!
car talk is its own language. so confusing.
what the hell happened to your manlihood? no cars, no hot babes at the beach, no sports….?!
Haha, ugh, car talk! :[
But I totally love following basketball and swimming. (: The pool used to look like that during winter back when I was on the year round team. O_o…the air would be freezing but the water would feel good. Until we warmed up; then the water seemed too warm and we’d jump out of the water to cool off…
You pretty much described yourself as someone that’s fresh of the boat… which is weird, cause you’re born in the US
Anyway, I don’t know anything about cars. I had to learn when I planned on buying one. That’s pretty much it. I’m paying for it and I have to learn what’s good out there.
Swimming. I took a 2-month lesson when I was a kid at the YMCA in the Philippines with my cousins. I remember the basics of floating and trying to keep your body afloat. The rest I learned by myself. Nobody wants to be in the pool or the beach just standing there.
Team names. You’ll know if you take some interest into the game. That’s pretty much it.
@snapeful - Haha well I like sports, prefer to drive a nice car, and I can still lay around the beach. I can um…tell you the proper ways to work out! Does that help?
@sonychak - It is, although I’m getting better at it. Just not there yet.
@phosphor_stars - Oh interesting. Yeah, I can still go in pools, but I’m not gonna go in the deep deep side unless I’m holding on the side.
@secade - I know I know…for now, I’m hoping that I’ll just find some log or something to hold on to haha
@just_the_average_jane - Oh yeah? I still think that my head’s too big and is pulling me down XP
that’s it?! there’s only three things that you don’t know about?? HMPH!
@stupid_systemus - haha yes, when you described those cars you wanted all I could say was yup, it looks visually nice haha. Yeah, I’m surprise I haven’t quite picked up that knowledge over my life. I really should have huh? I don’t know…
@shatterFocus - Right, because all we ever talk about are cars, swimming, and sports. Hmm…
@XMechanicalxRainX - As I think back, I think I might have been tramautized at some point. Perhaps that’s part of the reason why I’m not so eagar to learn how to swim.
@kidzandK9z - Yes, swimming is on my to do list. I just haven’t seriously taken the time out to learn, but I should.
@TheKiwiIntoxication - Same, although people seem to be more understanding than I would have figured.
@CITYG1RL - haha well there’s other things I’m sure, just these three topics popped up first in my head.
Haha your post made me laugh. I appreciate your candid honesty in subjects most boys have vast knowledge in.
If you can’t float it might be because you have way more muscle than fat. Fat floats, muscle sinks. One marine I know sinks like a stone too while I float like oil on water. He has to paddle like crazy and I just sit on an invisible airbubble.
@Roadlesstaken - no worries, it is pretty easy!
@Roadlesstaken - My car knowledge only extends to how reliable they are, looks and do I see myself driving in one. As for tweaking the engine and other “ricer” activities, count me out. In the end, I don’t really know much about cars, so you’re not alone.
i can float for…a little bit. lol.
cars…i only semi-know about Hondas and other Japanese cars and that’s it.
sports…well i’m a girly girl. i don’t know. i do watch tennis, though! [high-five]
Haha I know nothing about sports or cars either xD
I learned how to swim in this huge hot tub.. haha. I learned how to swim backwards first though. Plus I can’t float either lol.
@Roadlesstaken – tennis is an asian sport… and if you are driving a crappily modded car but looks BEAUTIFUL on the outside, you gotta know! lol okay at least you work out!
@Un_filtered - I wish I could just float like that. It look so…relaxing.
@stupid_systemus - That’s good to hear
@elelkewljay - [high-fives] you get even more bonus points from me
@jhesyka - a huge hot tub?? Must have been pretty big to learn hot to swim in one haha
@snapeful - Is it? I figure ping pong and badminton were more Asian.
I find swimming a lot easier than floating on my back, and I’m pretty sure my swimming instructor gave up on teaching me how. Floating on my stomach’s not a problem, but it might be if I fell overboard in the middle of an ocean or something. =p The other two–hey, if you’re not interested then don’t push yourself. They’re just hobbies for most.
@Roadlesstaken – haha yeah, the trio of asian sports
ping pong, badminton, and tennis. you can’t count chess or programming as them though, unfortunately.
@snapeful - oh random fact; did you know my college is known to have one of the best chess teams in the country? They regularly make it to the chess version of The Final Four. I do not know how to play chess really, btw.
@xiaosnowtenshi - Wouldn’t floating on your stomach mean your face is in the water too?
aww that’s ok, it’s not like it’s super duper important
do you know how to shoot pool or snooker?? bowling??
vtec – variable valve timing and lift electronic control. its random but will come in handy one day. trust me. :p yeah i know what you mean. i used to hang out with a lot of guys and i picked up some things but i forgot most of the info that i learned. :/ about swimming, you have to learn how to float first… lol
@Roadlesstaken – hahaha! that’s awesome! oh man wow hahaha.
@subaru3169 - Not really that good at bowling, but I’m pretty decent at pool. I pretty much lived in the game room at my college for the first year or two.
@jeannie_dot_com - That vtec thing totally went over my head…haha. Where did you get that from?
Interesting post haha. I don’t really know that much about sports =(
does this make you feel…unmasculine? I say this light-heartedly. =]
@Eternalimplosion - Eh, somewhat. However, I feel I know enough other stuff that makes me fine with my manhood haha
@inaean - not even one?
Haha, this made me laugh. My mom knows cars, especially ones from the 60′s and 70′s really well, and it always makes me laugh when she identifies a ’69 Mustang or something like that. That knowledge would just never stick in my mind.
@Roadlesstaken - haha, i kid, i kid. Your posts are always entertaining and fun for me to read for some reason. =]
I have 0 mechanical skills. i can tell make and model of a car though.
Ah… don’t worry about it. In the end, these are usually just conversation starters. I think it’s a shame that some people know more about sporting events than current events.
car is red.
car goes vroom and eats gas
thats about as far as i know.
@TheRiverIsEverywhere - It seems so easy to people. Where was my car lesson??
@Eternalimplosion - That good to know
@Paul_Partisan - As does quite a lot of people it seems. I can’t figure out how come that never happened with me
@ElusiveWords - I probably know far too much about current tennis events than I really should haha
@ordinary_gir1 - haha. You must teach me all your other knowledge!
you definitely need to learn how to swim >=O!
@LilyTheBunny - I’ll get to it, eventually haha. I need someone very patient to show me.
Geez. You should really learn about cars.
@UnpredictableIdentity - I’m getting there, just wish it comes as easy for me as it does for others
Do you at least know the make/model of your car?
@Roadlesstaken - Good luck! I’ll be with you on your way.
@everchanginglife09 - Yes, that I do know haha. I’m not that hopeless
Well, with regards to floating… just lie flat on your back
Actually, the key (I think) is to completely let your head float
backwards as well so it’s in line with your body. If you don’t do that,
it’ll throw off your whole center of gravity/equilibrium thing and your
legs end up heading back downward into the water. Hope that helps!
@MochaSprinkle - Hmm, but what if it’s the other way around, where it feels like my head is sinking me downward??
Oh but swimming is so much fun! It’s so relaxing!
@Roadlesstaken - then, with it all the way back/even with your body, slowly keep lifting it up until you can feel it. When I first learned to float, I’d get really scared (of standing-height water.. not sure why, lol) and I’d suddenly be breathing super fast. I’d have to close my eyes and take a deep breath in and then out (sometimes I’d sink a little) and when I opened my eyes I’d be all set. Probably just mental. I mean, you’re not trying to float in 50ft. water, so what’ve you got to lose? Exactly
i’m reading this, but i don’t understand. no comprendo (i don’t know Spanish, btw).
you need to learn to swim, asap… and learn to watch sports, man! the Olympics aren’t every year. it’s time to pick up some baseball, basketball, or football. i suggest football. it’s THE American sport, after all.
of course, if you can watch soccer more often, then that counts, too.
@TheBigShowAtUD - I watch a lot of tennis! Of all those sport choices, football would probably be my pick. I enjoy it during Superbowl season, but haven’t gotten in the habit of watching it during the rest of the time.
@MochaSprinkle - It probably is all mental. I need to get over it, but easier said than done. I’ll try that tip next time
@TheCheshireGrins - Seems like it would be, and good exercise too. Urgh, I should learn it I know…
GASP!!!! MAJOR, MAJOR GASP!!!
We are not friends anymore.
jk
I don’t know any of these!…wait no I take that back, I know baseball. I was in little league. It’s my favorite sport. And I can watch football, but ask me to play it…haha I can’t do it. As for cars, it confuses me at how guys just automatically know so much. A lot of them can just look at a car, tell you it’s company, the year, the freakin engine brand lol. I think it’s on the guy memo. And swimming…..me and swimming are not friends. Actually, me and deep bodies of water are not friends. I’m terrified, absolutely terried of water. Which is why I’m afraid of boats, and part of the reason why I’m afraid of planes. I took swimming lessons in 5th grade and for the most part I can swim, but I almost drowned in the deep end and I freaked out and couldn’t get back in the water. I was afraid way before then though. It’s like a weird phobia.
It’s okay to not be up on these things though. In some way it’s like a relief lol
@bamzilicious26 - Damn, note to self: Gotta stop exposing my weaknesses here
@RaquelHiggins005 - The guy memo? How come I missed that?! Yes, I’m starting to think I might have been traumatized as a kid of swimming as well. I think my dad almost threw me in the deep end once.
@Roadlesstaken - Noooo, learn to swim! It makes going to the beach much mroe fun
whaaa??
you’re a FISH and you don’t know how to swim!!!?!!?!
“blasphemy!” says my february pisces friend.
I’m pretty good with everything you listed. If you ever have any sports questions / want to impress friends with your random knowledge of athletic facts, let me know
And floating is indeed a hard trick to master. It’s mostly about regulating your breathing, inhaling quickly and exhaling sloooooowly. It can be quite relaxing once you get the hang of it.
u are a lameo! jk!
maybe hahahaha
i knwo a little bout cars and swimming!
I don’t know how to swim either (never learned and my HS didn’t have a pool so swimming wasn’t required); I can float though! And I love sports but I don’t know a lot about sports stats either. BTW, how do you know that a lot of people don’t describe the differences between cars the same way as you?
2/3 with you on this one.
i have no clue about cars besides for big, shiny and fast.
but i DO know how to swim…and i’ve taught people how to float before. it’s cool.
it really is completely relaxing if you stretch yourself outside the drowning fear.
and oh dear..sports. o_O
i do like football, but i only know general stuff you know. how it’s kinda played.
but nothing else. nothing about any other sport either…i can distinguish teams…kinda. lol.
i agree… “one of these days”
Football, basketball and cars I’m with you. Baseball I understand pretty well and I’m a good swimmer. Seriously, I would encourage you to sign up for a basic adult swimming/water safety course. Everyone should know the basics to stay afloat and survive should you find yourself in a body of water.
I get some car talk, but I totally understand you on swimming. People tell me how easy it is to float, and I keep sinking. I don’t get it.
funny how i dont know much about cars myself..but i do like cars though. But sports..I CANNOT live without watching nfl football every sunday during football season or at least a few baseball/basketball games in between. Well tennis is an okay sport..I’m not crazy about that one though. Its mostly about football for me though. I look foward to every sunday almost like a kid waiting for chirstmas day to open his presents..yes football IS that exciting for me!
I am a reckless driver and I huhhh… mmm… 4 cars (inexpensive cars) but I am kinda cluesless about car(s).
I love swimming and I am a very good & strong swimmer. I swim since I was 7yrs old.
As for sport – I luv SOCCER!
SO, hereby I declare that I am awesome than you… hehehe, j/k!
I think I hate fantasy football talk the most. It is one thing to watch football, and know the players, the plays that happened, and the general stats of the game. It’s a whole another level when they talk about the scoring system, and talk about the stats in detail…
Aw, it’s funny how you mentioned those specifically because way back when, I used to think I knew a lot myself and when my friends started speaking car lingo, I was like, okay, i’m not cool haha. I wouldn’t say I could be hired as a car salesman but I know more now than just the color hehehe. As for swimming, let’s just say I will never be cut out to be a Michael Phelps prodigy and sports I don’t pay much attention to unless it’s the finals of an NBA season when there’s hype about it or the world cup for soccer.
LOL
I can float….a little. Just half of my body at a time. Either my top half or bottom half sinks, I don’t know how to hold my entire body up. Can’t swim for shit, but I can doggie paddle with the best of them.
@nepenthium - OR we can say I’m a tiger according to the Chinese Zodiac, and tigers don’t need to know how to swim! =D
@Carolina17 - ah sounds good. Interesting comment on floating; I’ve never heard that advice. Yet something else I should try
@s_h_a_sha - it’s okay, I know that no matter how lame I get you’ll always be lamer =)
@LADYLILYTHAO - well perhaps I overexaggerate, but it does seem like most people can tell whether a car’s a Toyota or something else just by looking at it. I don’t know where to start in order to tell that.
@PiscesPhishie - so what do you do exactly when you first initiate the float?
@simply_sarahmarie - My way of delaying it hehe
@christao408 - I know, I’ve been meaning to learn one of these days…I just rationalize it by saying hopefully there will be something I can hold onto or someone around can help me stay afloat. If not, well I guess that’s my day haha
@xchinkylaydee - exactly, they say “just lay flat on your back”, but doesn’t work out. I don’t get it…
@nooitzben - the way you feel about football is how I feel about tennis. I don’t mind getting to know football more. Of the three sports above, that’s the one I’m most interested in.
@RestlessButterfly - wait, so you have 4 cars, or did you wreck 4 cars?? haha
@ThePeterPanComplex - See, I hear about fantasy football all the time, but to be honest I still don’t understand how it actually works. I just never went out of my way to find out.
@neekersha - I’m getting better at the car thing, but I got a long way to go. I can at least identify my own car =D
@the_rocking_of_socks - I can sorta doggie paddle as well, but I get tired out too quickly doing so. Yeah, I don’t think I would last in the ocean XP
out of the three..i think swimming might be more helpful! hahaha…=P learn that first ^.~ cars and sport..you will pick it up when your friends talk about it
Omg. It seems like everyone knows about cars. My girls can tell me the make and model as it zooms by. And I’m sitting there like huh? But glad to know, I’m not the only one!:)
@Roadlesstaken - no way!!!! u wish i am lamer
You lost some “man” points for not knowing about cars.
@strawberries_and_honey - Soooooo be it
@Just_another_life_of_a_girl - True true
@SamyuktaR - your girls should tutor me =P
@Roadlesstaken - But you know I still love you
@Roadlesstaken - well, first you relax, deep breaths and clear your worries away. :] the hardest part is for people to let go of the anxiety that you’ll be engulfed by the water. but it’s the natural law of buoyancy. lol.
@Roadlesstaken - no! you’re a fish fish fish!!! pisces <3
Lol. I think you just don’t find these topics interesting. People who are interested in cars, swimming, and sports probably do not share the same interests that you have. You don’t have to know everything or the so-called “stuff that I should know.”
I thought about Garden State when you mentioned swimming.
“You look like a wet beaver.”
CARS!! I’m probably the opposite. I’m one of the few girls that know about cars. haha. probably because my friends are obsessed with them and I pick it up from that.
SWIMMING!! I cant swim/float either
It’s sad. well i can float like a dead person actually (face in the water laying there) which doesnt help if im in the middle of the ocean and cant touch the ground to get up and breathe. haha
Wow. Were we seperated at birth? On cars, I know where to put the gas. And I know it’s green. That’s about it. On swimming, that’s a no-go. I couldn’t swim to save my life. Which could be a problem, because we just bought a house with a pool… hmm. And don’t even get me started on sports. I just realized last year that the yellow line on televised football fields isn’t really there.
Where have you been all my life?!?! I always wanted a twin brother…
@litefaerie87 - nah it’s true, I don’t really find it that interesting for whatever reason. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to learn anyway in case it comes ups in conversation.
@indiechaos - that would be me
@CatherineMarshmallow - you must show me your ways!
@the_mamarazzi - Haha, I’m not as bad with sports as you are, but I’m glad we can both relate =D . Hi twin
How did I learn about the differences in cars? Well, my father is a Mechanical Specialist and I’ve read the manuals of different vehicles my father has fixed and/or bought in the past.
I love to swim. Did so in April during my Vietnam trip. I can hold my breath underwater for a little over 60 seconds.
I’ve watched all types of sports games, but I mostly enjoy watching martial arts tournaments. I don’t really follow stats for the other sports, but I understand what’s happening during the games =).
You know what? You don’t have to know everything there is to know. Just continue learning about the things you have a passion for.
We should never stop learning, we can’t be too smart to know everything. And yeah you ahve to be relax to float – I dunno, I find it easier to float on my back though-
Cars get me from point A to point B… hahahahaha I’m sure if I *had* to I could change the oil on my car.
IDK how to swim either.. =0(
Sports… I’m clueless. I can manage the basics, like maybe how it’s played. haha
the rules take a while to learn, but it’s the most fun to watch. get into it!
@ladyofthesilk - I know, not everything…but cars and sports stuff seems to be talked about often and it goes right over my head haha
@thelitterboxgirl - I’ve tried floating on my back many times, but still no success. I’ll keep trying I suppose. Maybe one day it’ll just click.
@PineappleLurve - let go take a swimming class together!
Yeah, I’m the same way with most sports…especially football. And cars too. If it’s not a car that I’ve OWNED, don’t ask me to identify it beyond color and size.
But I *do* know how to swim!
Can you program a dvr? Do a cartwheel? Speak a foreign language? These are all things I can’t do, but would like to.
What is a pink squirrel?
Hey, it’s no big deal, if you know car or not now… Now these days, no one care… but if you can’t text twist… Than you’re out of luck man.. LOL..
lol it’s okay if you dont get all of them; i dont either; of your three, i probably get about 1.5 of those. hahaa
I* can’t hack it in the water either.
@Another_Perfect_Wonder - Actually…I can do all those three things! =D
@SuperRat - I played that game for the first time on my way to SD recently. It’s fun stuff.
@Meowmeowkimmaee - a squirrel that’s pink…duh =P
@MariaBoscardin - haha, so you understand half of each category?
@Levanna - eh, water’s for the fishes.
@Roadlesstaken - one (swimming) and then half another (cars)
I’m with you on the cars…it always amazes me when people can describe the make and model of a car from a crime scene…I could never do that. I’m luck if I remember the color!
lol…… damn….. you’re the guy i been looking for!!!
i hate guys who talks about cars.. ugh, and they spend so much money making it look better…. when he could be saving up for a house.
and ufc.. baseball.. basketball.. hockey, all that jazz.. i’m really lost when my date talks about those too, and i can tell they’re automatically turned off knowing i don’t know a thing about sports. and its ok.. i can’t tread or float either.
@CareyGLY - I know! Not until fairly recently did I notice a good amount of people can do that.
@Joanna_said_SO - well, if we ever go on a date we will definitely not be talking about that stuff
@Roadlesstaken - or go swimming lol
Everyone knows it’s impossible to know everything about everything. The problem is that when you know or can do something very well, it is hard to imagine how others cannot. For instance, no one can understand why I can’t play volleyball. I think I am the only one in the universe who can’t! Anyway, I just can’t get the concept of being prepared to control a ball that is coming down toward you. On the flipside of things, I can’t understand people who can’t remember other people’s names. I’ve always been able to match a name with a face after hearing it once, yet there are people who have known my family for almost five years and still can’t keep our names straight. I can’t even imagine that! But…then I remember how terrible I am at volleyball. Okay, everyone has their thing! lol
I don’t really know much about cars either. Although I do love swimming and can follow most major sports.
i feel like those car images bunched up together would make a nice quiz.
hey i’m on the same boat as you, when people talk about certain things i only minor things of it leaving little to contribute in the conversation. sometimes i just research just to play some ketchup
i loooovveee swimming! -eyes glitter- its the only sport that can save a life! XDDDDDDDDDDD -including your own!-
@SarahLynn_violin - You know, volleyball is actually a sport I’m rather sucky in! I can never quite get a good spike shot.
@Simbathe2nd - One of these days I’ll get more into those sports.
@xxLilPauliexx - haha, I like how you wrote ketchup instead of catch up.
@Lesonja - I guess you’re coming with me the next time I’m on a cruise ship and it sinks. Save me!
That pool looks deep!
@JL789 - and uber scary for a non-swimmer!
I’m sure you know the essentials, and that’s tres important! My eldest brother knows a lot about cars but doesn’t know how to work our washing machine!
@theRyeCatcher - ah, well that I do know =D
i know makes & models of some cars..cuz i notice pretty cars when i stop @ lights and just happen to see the model name =) …& i definitely do not know how to swim..i can float, but i cannot move around..hehe…i go where the current takes me! =)…
Haha this is probably the best post I’ve ever read. I know my cars. I can look at it, try and make up the year, try and name the make and model. I’m really good with Honda’s actually… lol
swimming. i can’t swim. it’s more like floating. it burns my eyes to open them underwater.. ouch.
hahahah I am so the same way with sports. I love to watch them… but i know nothing about them.. my friends yell “FIRST DOWN!!!” i scream “WHAT IS THAT?!?!” is that a good thing?! I don’t know, will i ever know? probably not. lol GOOD POST.
@Roadlesstaken - i can save you from drowning…but in the sea….sharks are another thing >.<
@vtpryncess - Show me your ways!
@xpokerface90 - You too! Is there some tips you have for distinguishing cars?
@Roadlesstaken - tips? woah woah woah buddy lol those are top secret tips. lol actually idk any tips, i think i’ve just been around people that drive honda’s a lot so i know what they look like… it’s just something i know… hehe
hah i cant swim to save my life, maybe it’s an asian thing?? haha nah, i was never motivated to blow bubbles in the water and look like a flappingn duck while trying to do the starfish float.. seriously, it looked uncool! btu then it was uncool to say i cant go to the 6ft end cause i cant swim XT
and yeah i learned about cars cause of my dad, btu im glad youre not into it!
@philanthropic_sinner - Ah, I bet I would be a lot better off with cars had my dad gone over some things with me when I was younger!
wow you fail at 3 things that women expect their man to possess
good luck
@mellowmell - it’s a draw back, but I got some other things I know that helps make up for it =P
But, what about college football? Come on, man.
haha this made me smile.
@johnny_hopkins - I follow Maryland college football team somewhat, if that counts for anything
i am the same exact way with cars and professional sports. haha sometimes I TRY to go learn more, but it all seems so pointless. if it’s not my car or my team, why am I looking at the different parts or the difference coaches? XD
@romeosintuition - Yeah, I think part of the reason I haven’t gotten into them is because I don’t have that connection. *shrugs*
Haha I’m exactly the same way about cars, I know ones that me or my family own and can spot them but other than that no clue. If something ever happened and the police asked me for the description of the car I’d be shit out of luck. It’s a car, truck, minivan, jeep, etc… but then again I don’t really have a passion for cars at all, so that might be part of it
@Drugsy - I have no passion for cars, especially compared to other guys. Just not interested for some reason
