Did I Just Get Stunned…At Freakin’ CVS??
I didn’t pinpoint what was going on right away, but upon retrospect I think that was exactly what had just occurred.
I had just gotten off of work and was driving my cousin back home when I decided to stop by my local CVS to pick up some green tea (my supply was running dangerously low!). I was asking my cousin if he wanted something and was walking in the direction of the drinks aisle when all of a sudden a few things came over me in a matter of seconds.
Instead of walking straight, my body started gravitating towards where all the registers were. Around the same time, the conversation I was having with my cousin abruptly stopped (probably due to my mouth not working). Before I knew it, I felt like I was heading towards something or someone, but I wasn’t sure what or who yet. As I got closer, I finally noticed exactly what was affecting me.
There she was, this beautiful girl that I’ve never seen before around these parts. What a sight! I couldn’t tell you what made her stand out exactly, but obviously my brain was detecting something wonderful from her. Whatever it was, I was being stupefied right there and then. It was kind of a nice, soothing feelings, but at the same time I didn’t like how overwhelmed I became.
Once I figured out what was going on, I managed to override that influence and snapped out of it. Luckily for me, I did it right in the nick of time as I nearly crashed into a display that was directly in front of me. I think only the guy at the register noticed anything peculiar as I narrowly avoided that stand. Close one!
Somehow, my cousin didn’t pick up what had just happened, so I continued on to the drinks aisle with him not bringing up anything that had just transpired. However, a part of me really wanted to go back to see who the hell was this girl and where did she come from. I had mentally made the decision to talk to her, but unfortunately by the time I finished grabbing my drinks and headed back over to the register area she was gone. All I saw was a glimpse of her as she exited out the store, her long hair flowing in the wind (hmm, not sure if that last part was true or if I just imagined that in my head).
My area is not too big and I’m pretty sure there aren’t that many people around who can stun me like that, so perhaps I will serendipitously bump into her again in the near future. If not…oh well.
Now if you may excuse me, I suddenly feel the need to pick up some more tea

Aww, how cute. And funny. I’ve always wondered if some girls really do have that kind of affect on guys or if it is only in movies and on TV, but I guess it’s true.

lol wow. I’m guessing she was that gorgeous. The whole time I was picturing this and I laughed the whole entire time. It seems so surreal, like something you see in a movie. I think you might see her again. I’ve never had this experience before lol, not sure if I want to.

@RaquelHiggins005 - What’s weird was she was definitely attractive, but she wasn’t overtly attractive. She was dressed down and wasn’t wearing much make up, but still she had that something.

It’s so dorky to run into stuff cuz you’ve been stunned by the way someone looks… I’ve totally done it before, I once knocked over a bunch of stuff on a table and had to clean it up. Yeesh.

If you do see her again, you should be like “Um, er, hi my um name is er um Alex. I um er enjoy tennis, um green teat, and um er Rob of the Sky’s Xanga site.” There’s about a 1 in a billion chance she would have heard of Rob of the Sky. But if she has, well you will have succeeded in impressing her.

@Roadlesstaken - Oh.. don’t say that. When I was still at Univ.. I worked part-time at Barnes & Noble College Div. to save money on my books. I saw this girl at the register walking out the door, I ran to the back room windows and only saw just glimpse of her face. I look for months, and not see her again. And one day at the store, this girl say can you find this book for me, and I was like stun, it’s her… Life has it way.. So, what happen next?

one of my fondest memories of a stranger, I was scared he was going to kill me or something, but he just complemented me HIGHLY and then walked away…. i still tell people about it…

@Roadlesstaken - Ok, back to what happen.. Normally working at B&N, you get discount$$ on books. But I don’t like help other than my friends to buy there books. But that girl, say to me, “Oh, you get discount, ok you pickup for me, I pay you know” ummm… I don’t know what went through my head or pants.. haha.. But I say ok, “My mind inside “WHAT you’re doing”. I told her that all employee has to wait to end of the day before can pick up book, She say fine, gave me the money, and will see me at my off time, that is 9pm. She show up and thank me. I say to her, what I get… Oh, I take you to lunch tomorrow. But ended that I have class and didn’t took up her lunch date… Just to make my story short… She was my gf after… haha… so, that why I say fate…

Sounds like a scene out of a movie, but movies get it right, cuz the same exact thing happens to me too sometimes! The whole, becoming oblivious to the rest of your surroundings, and the focus that is suddenly put on that gorgeous person in front of you. And the wind that comes out of nowhere… hahaha.
