My Dating Flowchart (According to OkCupid) + VA Beach Trip Recap
A long time ago, I created an account over at OkCupid, primarily to do all their fun tests. I did dabble on the dating part of the site later on, but I have since stopped really using the site.
One interesting thing you can do on there was answering a bunch of questions that ended up determining your dating preferences and your compatibility level with other folks on there. I was checking my email the other day and they sent me this dating flowchart. Basically, it gives key questions to answer and you can determine how likely I would date you. I think it’s more or less accurate, although I’m not sure I would consider all the questions on there to be the most important ones to ask. Here, take a look:

This past weekend, I took a weekend trip down to VA Beach. My friends and I went down there last year and enjoyed it, so we decided to do it again. Overall, it was a fun trip. We got rained out all day Friday and half of Saturday, but we were able to secure some much needed beach time.

@Peridot21 - yeah, those test results can be fun. I find a lot of their tests to be pretty accurate (just make sure you do the most popular ones).

I am so jealous that you went to Virginia Beach! I went there last year, but haven’t got a chance to go back. Lol, I could see my hotel from one of your pictures! lol, & I love love love Sonic. I don’t think there are enough sonics where I live either. Theres sadly, only two

@Thoughts_Of_P - The beach is nice. That’s part of the reason why we rather go there instead of Ocean City, MD (which is a bit closer).

@ElusiveWords - Oh nahhh, although I probably could. that buffet was amazing! I ate soooo much sushi and clam for just 15 bucks

@Lynn1013 - That other entree next to the fondue was shark bites. I didn’t have it, but my friends did and apparently it’s almost as good as that fondue. Next year I’ll try it!
@balebalebu - which area are you from again? All the good beaches near me are at least 3 hours away (VA Beach was about 3 1/2 hours) . I’m glad you think that umbrella doesn’t look Asian. I don’t see it.
@subaru3169 - Yeah, that flow chart was more detailed than I thought. My god that Asian buffet was great. All the sushi and clams I wanted for 15 bucks? Sold!
@JetaimeMing - I ate that buffet around 4pm and it kept me full for the rest of the day

haha, apparently i’d have to pay in order for you to go out with me ^_^. VA beach was so awesome, thanks again for searching out the hotel rooms!! definitely worth the price. i even got a good mile and half run in that sweet gym. I’m so sad that eric and I had to leave before sushi, marv texted me a picture of his plate and it looked like heaven. luckily i’d already eaten my chicken nuggets otherwise i think i might have thrown a tantrum if i had to eat them after that picture.

@iiflyhigh - Ah. Was it anywhere near 11th-12th street? That’s where we were in that shot. Maybe next time I’ll go for a beachside hotel. We stayed at a hotel about 15 minutes away.
@skylar_rose - That food was quite epic. One of the reasons why we decided to go back to VA beach this year was for that fondue haha

@Roadlesstaken - lol im not sure exactly where it was, like near what streets. All I remember was that it was one of the worst hotels that I have ever been too. I had gone with my mom and her best friend and her best friend’s daughter. They had picked out the hotel. It was called MarJac. It was awful. lol! But still we were hardly in our hotel so it was okay, i guess.
@snapeful - haha that was my second guess. I can’t be doing that; otherwise I would attract all the girls on the beach!! j/k
@iiflyhigh - Was it dirty or something? The hotel was probably good in that it was really close to the beach and you had close parking, no?
@Roadlesstaken - lol yeah we had good parking, but it was a little dirty, the elevator wasnt working the whole week that we were there, and our room was on the fourth floor. it didn’t have internet or cable, but the veiws of the ocean were good.
@Roadlesstaken – you would attract the attention of all the guys on the beach.
looks like you had fun at the beach. diggin’ the umbrella…very aquatic. lol and interesting flowchart; don’t quite understand what it would prove from the ?s they ask b/c the ?s seem totally irrelevant for the most part, but interesting. lol apparently, i would have to pay you to get a date when i did the flowchart. haha

Haha, I’m on okcupid too! It’s where I met my current boyfriend. I find it easier to meet guys online than in person, even though I’ve had some strike outs.
I don’t think the beach umbrella deal is Asian. everyone uses them! LOL and man I want some of that fondue!

haha, digging a hole in the sand at the beach reminds me of the good ‘ol toddler days, when our parents would create a safe little beach hole in the ground for the babies to play freely in.

Ah! I’m so slow, I can’t understand the chart -_-…you guys look like you’ve had a lot of fun. I’ve only beeen to the beach once but we only stayed on the boardwalk. And that umbrella is cute^_^ because it’s Purple and Blue (squeals). How was Sonic by the way? I’ve never been there before and the only one I know of is a very long drive away from home.
By the way, that girl’s voice sounds alittle like mine. when she started speaking I was like “whoa!..wait a minute, did I accidently pull up one of my videos?” It was so odd.

@RaquelHiggins005 - Sonic was pretty good. Pretty much like your typical fast food burger place except they’re known for their shakes and drinks. What about the chart is confusing? Pretty much you come to a question and answer it, and depending on how you answered it you would follow that arrow to the next question.

@Roadlesstaken - Well, I don’t know you too personally, but from what I read on your blog, and looking at you in the videos you post up from time to time, this kind of reminded me of you. His voice was one, he seemed very charismatic, friendly and with hints of goofiness. I don’t know how to explain it too well, but he reminded me of you and 2 of my friends all mixed together. His name was Michael R. Rosete.
