Female Accessories That Can Weaken Me Like Kryptonite
Obviously, personality beats out looks any day for me. Pretty girls are a dime a dozen, but to have that winning combination of being both pretty AND having an amazing personality is so rare to find.
However, It’s hard to see someone’s personality at first glance, so clearly physical things are going to be noticed by me at first. I’ve realized over the years that there were a few things a girl can wear that had the potential to um, disarm me. Before I knew it, I would stop whatever I was doing and just find my eyes unconsciously lingering over at the girl’s directions for however long it takes for me to break out of the trance. I’ve gotten better at handling these effects over the years, but occasionally I would still find myself weakened momentarily before shaking out of it.
Since some people were curious, I decided to list a sample of the accessories one can wear that will most likely draw my attention. It’s not a comprehensive list, but it hits the major items that could potentially stun me. I will also give each item a power factor (i.e. the effect on me) ranging from 1 (can illicit a quick glance) to 5 (I’m under your spell 0_0).

Heels
Power Factor: 1
Additional Comments: This barely made it on my list. In the past, I have caught myself looking at a girl sporting a nice pair of heels. Then again, it could just be the clanking sounds they tend to make that grabs my attention. *shrugs*
Long Earrings
Power Factor: 2
Additional Comments: The longer and/or bigger the earrings, the greater the effect!
Sundresses
Power Factor: 2
Additional Comments: Specifically, yellow and white sundresses have a much stronger influence on me. No clue why.
Anklets
Power factor: 3
Additional Comments: Bracelets are far too common. Anklets are the way to go!
Sexy Eyeglass Frames
Power Factor: 4
Additional Comments: I heard that the sexy smart look on girls is the 5th leading causes of death for guys. Go ahead, wiki it.
Flower in Hair
Power Factor: 4.5
Additional Comments: *Snaps out of it* Geez, you know it’s bad when just a picture can mess you up.????????????
Power Factor: 5

Tennis Players with Game

Additional Comments: I love seeing a skillful girl passionately slamming balls for hours on end (in before “that’s what she said”)!Hmm. After looking over this list, it seems I should try to avoid going to any women tennis tournament in Hawaii (unless I really want to see myself running into walls and tripping all over the place
). Alright, I’m going to stop writing any more on this topic before I give myself a heart attack. Damn these weaknesses!

I’ve never heard of a flower in the hair as having such a big effect before. What exactly is it about it that’s so powerful?
You know, even for girls, this list is veryyy good…well, to me at least. I wear those heels, long earrings, sundresses, love anklets, and play tennis….I don’t do the flower thing though….ehmmmm….no.
But anyway, us girls would look at those same girls too! Except, we would be looking to compare and contrast….as well as to grade their appearance and try to find that hole in their outfit.

flower in hair? i don’t believe i’ve seen any girls with flower on their hair other than on tv. but i suppose it could give an astounding effect on some girls. heels are hot but didn’t know that guys would turn around to look at a girl because they’re wearing heels, its more of that skanky short lil dress that accompany the heels that catches guys’ attention.

One thing I would personally add to that list would be un-intentional midriff exposure. You know when chicks wear shirts that are not too tight, and not too short, but then they reach up, you catch a glimpse of skin? *swoon*. Girls are so much better to check out than guys in terms of the little things

it was an experiment. I have been skateboarding for about 2 years and it was always in jeans and sneakers. So I wanted to know how it was like in heels, it was unpleasant and got a lot of stares lol. i mean i could still skateboard but it hurts a bit.

Hmmm…I rarely wear any of those accessories, except the glass frames which is too big for my face and I get made fun of. A lot of guys told me that they like the sound of high heels, some girls even wear them on campus OUCH! I’m the type that would wear dansko to clubbing, they are the most comfortable and ugliest shoes I have. Seriously it’s dark in there and I hope no one ever notices haha!

there’s this saying/superstition/whatever in korean culture that if a guy gives a girl an anklet for her birthday/other special occasion, he’ll be with her to celebrate when the day comes around the year after. :] like the post

Heels are a modern day version of Chinese foot binding. And they really do make too much damn noise, they announce a girl’s coming from a mile off. Can you imagine if a girl had to had to run or fight?

Well I’m a tennis player, so seeing another girl that can tennis just as well as me is a major turn on. Kournikova was ok, but I rather look at Sharapova or Kirilenko (girl in above pic)

And it’s interesting that heels which I would think would be one of the easiest to affect a guy barely does anything. Learn something new. I think this is definitely a unique list, minus the sexy glasses one—it seems to be a pretty hot thing. I kind of wonder what will happen if you see one girl walking down a street in a yellow sundress, with a flower in her hair, anklets on her feet, long earrings ….. the whole shebang. I hope you don’t suffer from asthma.

Hmm, anklets, huh? It seems like they’re going out of style or I guess not too many girls wear them anymore. My mom told me that in the old days boyfriends used to give them to their girlfriends, I think that tradition needs to be revived.

Before I clicked on this post, I thought of flowers and heels…and ha, I was right!!! The tennis thing was a little unexpected but the rest is understandable. I hope no one will use this list against you,lol.
@purest_of_rain - Haha did I give off that vibe that I would like flowers and such, or was that just a lucky guess? Yeah, you wouldn’t expect the tennis thing but I’ve definitely noticed myself being a lot more attracted when I see a girl play tennis well.
@Roadlesstaken - No, I just always thought that all guys like those kind of things…well, most of them anyway. With me, it’s the piano. No joke, if a guy want me to fall in love with him, all he gotta do is play the piano to me. Yea, it’s that effective,lol.

I used to rock those huge and long earrings – not quite sure why I stopped. But as for flowers in hair – all my friends (guys and girls) always ask why I do it! I love picking wild flowers and putting it in my hair!!! It’s my guilty pleasure! lol

anklet [nope. apart from a watch and my pearl earings i dont wear any accesories anymore. hhm, occational bangles though.]
