Answers to TheCheshireGrins’ Questions
TheCheshireGrins gave me these questions:
1. If you could travel any place in the world, where would you go?
2. Who is your favorite person and why?
3. Who are your role models in life?
4. What is your greatest goal in life?
5. What do you see yourself doing in ten years?She also gave me these rules:
Here’s the Deal (Rules)
1. Leave a comment saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I will respond by message asking you five questions.
3. You’ll update your journal with my five questions, as well as your five answers. Remember to tag me so I can read it.
4. You’ll include this explanation.
5. You’ll ask other people if they want to be interviewed by you.Here are my answers:
1. If you could travel any place in the world, where would you go?
I eventually want to travel all over the world, but if I had to pick only one place I would say Japan. There’s seem to be so much stuff to do and see over there! I would absolutely want to be in the audience for one of those crazy Japanese game shows! Of course, Tokyo would be my first destination if I ever visited Japan.
2. Who is your favorite person and why?
To be honest, I have a really hard time answering this question because I don’t really have an absolute favorite. I generally have a good group of people that I trust and count on, but I don’t have any one person that I absolutely admire the most. I suppose whenever I find an amazing significant other I would say she is my favorite person, but until then I’ll just have to give this answer for now.
3. Who are your role models in life?
Another tough one! There are probably quite a few people I could say that I look up to in my real life, such as my old high school tennis coach. However, the first two people that came to mind were people I’ve never met, but really admire.
The first person is Will Smith, the actor. He seems like a genuinely good person that loves his family and life. He’s a very likable person too. I think I would be pretty happy if people saw me in the same light as him.
The second person is Rafael Nadal, the tennis player. He’s around my age, yet has accomplished so much more than I could ever dream of! He’s an extraordinary tennis player that I would love to emulate, especially since we’re both left handed. What stands out the most is his character. He has such a strong mentality on the court and very rarely will you see him upset. Off the court, he’s very respectful and humble. Tennis is very lucky to have such a respectful person at the top of the game.
P.S. I wouldn’t mind having Nadal’s guns either, aka his massive arms that no tennis player really should have. He claims he doesn’t work out either…whatever!
4. What is your greatest goal in life?
I’m not really sure if I have that figured out yet. I guess if I have to say something right now, I would like to be able to leave a legacy or something that people will remember me long after I’m gone. It would be pretty cool to see how much I can influence the world around me as well as the people I’ve had a chance to contact.
5. What do you see yourself doing in ten years?
In ten years, I’ll be 33 years old 0_0 . By then, I expect to be married to the woman I’ve been searching for all my life. I’ll probably like some mini-Alexes running around by that time. Not sure if I’ll stay in Maryland, although I don’t think I’ll have a big problem with it if I do. I’m pretty sure I’ll still be living in the United States, possibly even Canada. Ideally, by this time I’m either a successful industrial/organization psychologist or a very important person working with the USTA (United States Tennis Association).
Alright your turn to let me know if you want me to ask you some questions! Just let me know and I’ll send you a message soon with my questions for you. I’ll try to give you some good ones

Sure. I wouldn’t mind being interviewed. Cool idea.
ah I love what you wrote, especially with nadal, I have to agree 100%. That’s why I am not a fan of djokovic, he is anything but humble and down to earth. Nadal has respect for everyone and even though he is the best in the world, he still admires federer and talks well of other players. He is a nice person as well, very good for the tennis world. I kind of prefer Federer though (did you see he broke his racket in the semis of the miami tournament?!! he hasn’t thrown his racket in 4 years!).
yesss ask mee questions lol
Oh and definitely move to Canada!! it’s amazing amazing amazing. The people there are the best in the world, so nice, friendly and smart. I would want to live either there or Australia (but with a house in florida haha)
And I can see you working for the USTA! that would be so cool
japan, eh? more specifically… tokyo! tokyo drift. haha
you should consider moving to LA! the lifestyle is really fast-paced and the traffic sucks, but it’s pretty cool. if you were to move over here, i’d have a beer or two with you. we can blog side-by-side while getting crunk.
@one_eared_batman -
Sure thing. I’ll send you a message sometime today!
@missedout_onlife -
I was gonna say that Federer is a very respectful person as well. We’re lucky to have our top two men’s players be such good sports! I didn’t Federer break his racket yet, but I’m gonna find it on YouTube or something sometime soon.
I really hope I can work for USTA one of these days. I’m currently doing some volunteer stuff with them. Hopefully I’ll gain enough experience that I’ll eventually get hired for one of the paying positions!
Oh, and I’ll send you a message w/ my questions for you sometime today
@fLiPgUy31O -
Funny, I was thinking about that movie when I wrote that answer! LA is nice, but I think I would probably prefer San Diego. They have a lot of nice beaches there! However if I ever do move to the LA area I’ll happily take you up with that offer.
I’d like to be interviewed =)
Will Smith does look like a great person and role model.
I’m game. Send some questions my way.
@Spyder_V -
He really is! I’ll be sending you your questions soon.
@Krissy_Cole -
Haha alrighty, coming you way!
Yay! Good answers. Thank you for playing
@TheCheshireGrins -
It was fun! Glad I did it.
LOL @ #5. Mini Alexes. HAHAH. Aw. I could just picture them playing tennis.
@MuchoMahal -
I’ll probably let them play ping pong first, then gradually move them up to tennis haha.
lol you seeem like an interesting person (=
oh oh I want some questions !
@Roadlesstaken -
LOL true.
oooh i wouldn’t mind being interviewed…
@JetaimeMing -
Am I? Alrighty, you’ll see a message from me in your inbox soon!
@rianahntr -
okie dokey!
lol
sure I’ll be interviewed
My friend is in japan at the moment, definitely has lots of stuff to do because her facebook is littered with photos!
@Roadlesstaken -
yeah you do (:
i love your blogs cause they’re so different and interesting lol
I admire Will Smith too. The guy’s a good role model. Wish I looked awesome like him =/
Come to Canada (: With global warming going on, we’ll have better weather than anywhere else in the world. (maybe.).
@Dylan_Disast3r -
You got it! See your inbox soon.
@trickery19 -
I’ll probably be exactly the same haha. Pictures sure helps me remember things better!
@JetaimeMing -
Haha you actually sorta answered one of the questions I sent you. Well I guess when you answer it you can add some more details or something =P
@AzureRecollections -
Are you sure, even in say San Diego or Hawaii? haha
@Roadlesstaken -
Don’t quote me on this, but Hawaii might get somewhat flooded, and I can’t recall where San Diego is at the moment. But common, we have LOTS of empty land up here. Think of how many tennis courts that’d be.
@AzureRecollections -
San Diego is in CA, where the weather is usually pretty warm and doesn’t change much. Hmm, maybe I should open up a tennis club in Canada one of these days!
@Roadlesstaken -
ah right, no wonder if sounded so familiar. Well, the weather’s always nice in CA. Cept i think there might be a water issue there from what I’ve been told. Or was that Florida? We have plenty of fresh water lakes up here (:
You should, I’d be one of your first members. However crappy I am
@Roadlesstaken -
yeah I realized when I saw the questions haha
Haha I’m game, although you’re probably waist deep in questions lol. I totally agree with Japan, sure I’d like to travel all over the world one day but I’ve always dreamed of going to Japan, I think I’m an egg white on the outside yellow on the inside lmao or at least my friends joke. My family has friends over there so hopefully maybe even in the next year I can sneak my way into staying with them heh.
I have writers block this week, so I’m game.
Hi, I just started reading your blog. ^_^ You seem like a very nice person. Have you ever thought about becoming a school pyschologist or a school counselor? You seem like you would be good at that. Plus, you can always still be a tennis coach while working at the school.
@Drugsy -
Haha you should sneak over there! I know I would try that. You will be getting a message from me very soon.
@faerienoodles -
Game eh? Alright, questions are gonna come your way!
@TuyetieNhi -
I thought about it at one point, but if I were to go the psychologist route I would probably lean towards couple therapy or something like that. Glad you’re enjoying reading my blog! Don’t be a stranger over here
Oh heck yes! I’ve wanted to go visit Japan for a long time too, before my strange obsession with asian people. Lmao to the mini-alexs’ hahaha I swear EVERY TIME I see this kid at school I think of younger you!
And props to will Smith! helllll yes! He’s sexy, smart, kind and funny.
that’s one piece of dark brown meat I wouldn’t mind getting to know. *drools*
oh and please do, i’d love an interview. :]
The Japanese version of hot pot is ridiculously satisfying. …But I’m thinking a plate of meat won’t sit well on your conscience, haha.
I think people (or Xangans, at least) already look at you in a similar light to Will Smith. You’re probably just as famous on Xanga as he is in real life. And a first online impression of you is probably held in high regard in everyone’s mind. =]
Aww, hahah, your future mini-Alexes are going to have such a blast with you.
wow kids by 33? It’s rare to find guys who want kids so early, I think nowadays not even girls want/can have kids so early! That’s really cute though =)
Great answers! I like your choice of Japan; that would sure be exciting. Also, Will Smith is a great role model! I’ll never forget what I heard him say on an interview one time, that the two keys to life are running and reading: running because you learn how to defeat the inner voice telling you to give up, and reading because you can always find inspiration from others before you who have overcome your same problems. Also, like you said, Will Smith is a great family man. He seems to have a good set of values. It’s good that you aspire to be seen in the same light! (I would say you’re doing an excellent job.)
If you have the time, would you please ask me five questions?
I would post my responses later in the week.
Will Smith is definitely an all around great guy. He’s a good person to look up to.
and…I want to be interviewed. It sounds like fun ^_^
Hehe I want to play this little game lol.
@PiscesPhishie -
There’s a younger version of me at your school?? Any pics of him? I’m curious now.
Want an interview too? Alrighty, you’ll get those questions soon!
@xxthatsmexx -
What’s the big difference between Japanese hot pot and regular hot pot? Oh I love meat! I think I will be fine with that haha.
Haha wow, that’s really kind of you to say that (even though I’m not sure I agree =P). The Will Smith of Xanga…haha that would be pretty cool. What makes you think people think that way about me?
@yeeeeelainezz -
Really? 33 isn’t that young right? By that time I figures I would be ready to settle down. Then again, who knows what will happen in the future.
@decembriel -
Thanks for sharing that part of the Will Smith interview with me! I haven’t heard that one before. Oh, and of course I’ll have time to ask you some questions!
@B1ANCACACA -
It is pretty fun! I try to make my questions a little interesting so it requires a bit of thinking before answering. You’ll get something in your inbox soon.
@oompalompalover -
Sure thing! Check your inbox sometime soon.
@Roadlesstaken -
Haha, I really don’t know what the difference is. I think it’s probably the soup base, but don’t quote me on it.
I can’t really describe it, but there’s a certain tone that I get from reading your comments. Your advice is constructive, and never hurtful – at least, not intentionally if it ever is. And (please disregard this moment of stalkerish-ness) I remember one datingish QOTD asking who gives the best advice on Xanga. Yessir, I think I saw your name pretty frequently. And if I just happen to be delusional (likely not), my preemptive apologies =]. Hahaha.
@Roadlesstaken - idk if i have pictures of him, but i do know him, i always wanna call him alex hahaha. but i think his name is ryan. xp i think i might just have to ask him to take a picture with me. hehe.
I’d like to visit Japan too!
@xxthatsmexx -
Nope you weren’t delusional; I remember seeing the comments on that post and was very pleasantly surprised. I didn’t realize so many people noticed my comments!
Since we’re being open here I’ll admit something as well; I’ve actually notice you a while back when I started seeing your comments over at Datingish. They were all very good and there were many times I decided not to write anything because I saw that you pretty much covered it haha.
@PiscesPhishie -
You just think his name is Ryan? Way to know him haha. Sure, go for it! That’s a good way to sucker him into a picture =P
@babelost -
great minds think alike
Hmm it seems like a lot of people want questions. Do you have time to give me some questions? If not, I’ll understand =)
@wynnw -
Of course! I’ll send some questions your way sometime today.
can i be interviewed as well?
and lol to the “mini-alexes” comment haha<3
@babyblue5201314 -
Oh yea, the world isn’t ready for them mini-Alexes just yet
. Check your inbox soon.
Good answers.
Krissy just lost her post!!She was answering her questions!That reminded me…I have to answer questions too.
@Roadlesstaken -
hahaha well you see, he knows ME, I don’t know him all too well but I have the opportunity to learn more about him. haha.
thanks, i had to ask someone what it meant lol & yeah true that, but at least you think & thinking too much isn’t bad, i think .. haa
@seedsower -
ahh I saw! Poor Krissy, that’s extremely frustrating.
Ooo.. this interview sounds like fun. Let me know whenever you visit Japan. I absolutely love Tokyo! The last time I was there was November 2004. I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun there. There is this amazing ramen shop that my friends and I found. I would love to be a contestant in a crazy Japanese game show.
@RiceDish -
I don’t think I would wanna be a contestant; I’ll just stick to watching other folks make fools out of themselves =P
I saw this on FML and it reminded me of your last date:
“Today, I was going on a dinner date with a girl I had just met. After I picked her up I asked her if she would like to get lobster. She looked at me and asked if those were the red ones. Confused I nodded. She replied, “Sorry, I don’t eat red meat.” I laughed. She was serious.”
1. If you could travel any place in the world, where would you go? To visit BomCamChuoi.
2. Who is your favorite person and why? BomCamChuoi, for obvious reasons.
3. Who are your role models in life? BomCamChuoi and her betta fish.
4. What is your greatest goal in life? To meet BomCamChuoi in person.
5. What do you see yourself doing in ten years? Reading “The Return of BomCamChuoi” Xanga.
We miss her!
hahaha…
@MochaSprinkle -
I read that earlier today! I can see how that could remind you of that date =P
@Binakwan -
I’m gonna take a wild stab in the wind and guess you really liked her? haha…well hopefully she’ll be back very soon.
@Roadlesstaken -
See, this is exactly what I mean! You always have something nice to say =]. It’d be pretty difficult to not like you – or your comments, at the very least.
You’re a celebrity.
Love your answers!!
@xxthatsmexx - Oh yea, I’m a very mean and angry person in real life
@superblessed - Haha thanks, although I have to disagree on the celebrity part =P
believe me you have all the great qualities of a celebrity *winks*
@superblessed - I just need to get in a movie or tv show or something! Now that would be amazing!
I know you’ll be sooo famous someday. Can I have your autograph now… like NOW?! xP
@Roadlesstaken -
Haha, let’s see you keep a straight face while you say that ;D. Gee, you must be getting spammed with tons of replies o_o.
@xxthatsmexx -
Eh I don’t see it that way. I like getting to know people on here!
@Roadlesstaken -
I guess that’s another reason why you’re so approachable and Xanga-loved =].
Fun times! Do me!
Come to Japan this summmeerrrr.
I’ll be there for a loooonnnnggg time! Alone. D:
And I hate Tokyo. Too many people. Too many things. The air is GROSS.
@randaness -
Alrighty, check your inbox soon
@thepenguinishere -
Why will you be there alone? I think I would take you up on that offer if I can figure out the logistics!
i want to be interviewed
@BABI_BRUNETTE_7 -
I will grant your wish
. Check your inbox soon
thanks babe
@Roadlesstaken -
What logisticssss????
I’ll be emoing in my grandma’s house without anyone around. X3
funnnn
Why am I still up? 69 people want to be interviewed, people love you man. But I wanna try this out. Interview me please.
@RaquelHiggins005 -
nah, not that many people got interviewed haha. Sure, I’ll send you a message soon.
