If you’re eligible to vote, vote damn it!
Tomorrow’s the day when we find out who our next president will be and I’m so excited. Never before have I’ve been this into a presidential election. I’ve been following it like I would follow one of my favorite tv shows. In some ways, the whole race has been like a show with many twist, turns, and tons of drama.
I just want to encourage all of you to just take the time out to vote tomorrow (I’m sure you heard that message EVERYWHERE, but bear with me
). If you need help finding your polling station, click on this link to find yours. Also, if you need a ride to your polling station and you’re near UMBC, call/message me and I’ll try to give you a ride, seriously.Specifically, I’m hoping for a large turnout for young voters. Even if you think your vote doesn’t matter, it has wide implications for the future. If say there is a large young voter turnout tomorrow, guess who’s concerns will become a bigger focus the next time someone runs for election?
We also need to get a bigger portion of us Asian American voters to go to the polls. Did you know that Asian voters typically have one of the lowest turnout rates? Let’s change that! Get rid of your apathy and help be a part of this big point in our history. If we can increase the turn out rate from where it is now (around the 30-40% turnout rate for Asians), our vote can seriously make an impact on the election. Don’t believe it? Watch this video below to see the power of the Asian Swing Vote, specifically how we ousted out the VA Republican George Allen after he made the racist comment “Maccaca” to an Indian American:
Who will I vote for tomorrow? Well, in case you didn’t check out my previous blog about that, I am officially on Team Obama, and apparently most of the world would also vote for Obama if they could (check out Newsweek “The World Hopes For Its First President“).
Right now, things are looking good for Obama, but don’t take that as a guarantee that he will win. We still need to get out there and vote, and to encourage all of our friends and family to vote. If things work out right, Obama will be ballin’:
BUT we got to make sure he doesn’t drop the ball! Don’t get too ahead of ourselves, Obama supporters, or else we may see this:
Hopefully not.
Let’s make history everyone!
Yes We Can!

Man, a lot of Viet people *them traditional ones* all go for McCain! Lol -__- And I go, so if Obama wins, will you be mad? You shouldn’t.Cuhs YOU DIDN’T VOTE!!! So you have no right to complain! Lol, but then again, sighs..PARENTS THINK THEY’RE ALWAYS RIGHT.
I voted…a few weeks ago in the mail! Woooohoooo!!!!!!!!
OBAMA > MCCAIN! thats who i’d vote for if i could
and i didnt even notice the bear till you pointed it out… pretty trippy lol btw i like that picture of obama with the chinese characters, its so dramatic

i wont watch it.
Im voting for obama.
Hey we got a candidate that actually PLAYS BASKETBALL!!!
前進 my butt. XDDD
yay for absentee ballots! =D
lolx im excited to find out who the next president is!!! =D gah!
I respect your choice, but I opted for Chuck Baldwin. Yeah, to me he is a much better candidate. However, as long as it’s not McCain, then the world will be a slightly much better place.
Anyway, thanks for commenting and visiting my site, especially commenting on the blog where I vent my frustrations towards my ex and life! =)
yeah, i really do like that one song of keisha cole…. *sigh* brings lots of memories back form the past… yeah, all the good and all the bad… *sigh* – but yeah enough about the past… i love your choice for tomorrow. just a little support will make it through… i hope so at least…^^ so yeah, where are you from anyway? we’ve been commenting each other for a few days now… and i haven’t even taken the time to introduce myself to you yet.. how can i forget that… so yeah, my name is Va and i’m from Wisconsin just living life. How about you? hope to hear from you soon. tk -v
yeah everybody vote!
I was really pro-Obama until today. When I saw this video: http://www.rightpundits.com/?p=2327 .
Now I’m more of a “better of two evils”.

Ehhh I was expecting something worse from that video. Doesn’t seem very clear that he did that on purpose, although the timing is unfortunate.
yeah, you can say Love has been on my mind lately… to be honest its been on my mind for some time now….. *sigh* its just so hard at time when things aren’t the way you wanted it and yeah its pretty sad…. but yeah.. what’s new for today… how’s the weather there??? I really don’t know much about your place at all… you should tell me more about it. -v
Showing a video of Obama scratching his chin with his middle finger is the worst method for choosing a candidate. Like last night, I was channel surfing and the GOP Trust commercial brings back Obama’s ties with Rev. Wright… Again… One day before election, and the only dirt they could bring up his disgruntled ex-pastor every commercial break?
As for many Asians voting for McCain, most of them are old and don’t like black people… sad, but true. Although another factor in this is that Democrats have always voted for limiting immigration. At least that’s what happened in 2004 because Kerry voiced his opinion about immigration and… you know… there are lots of illegal immigrants in the US.
GOBAMA!
My parents just voted. Haha!
Yay Asians!
