HK Chronicles: It’s Derek, yo!
We’re Batman.
Yes! Derek and I finally spend some time together over here in HK. It was really exciting to hang out w/ someone from back home over here. Being able to speak english w/ someone was great as well haha. We (as well as my cousin) spend the day over in Crossway Bay (Time Square, arcade) and later in Mong Kok (Ladies Street, Modern Toilet restaurant).
Outside at Time Square and in front of the mall w/ the arcade:
Some arcade fun:
Dinner at Modern Toilet (where they serve food and drinks in urinal cups and toilet bowls. The seats were toilets as well!):
Too bad I won’t get to hang out w/ him one last time before he leaves. I will be going to a city in China for the next couple of days. I was in China yesterday as well; at Shenzhen (right outside Hong Kong borders). Didn’t do too much except take professional photos w/ my parents. Should be getting the final prints back on the 15th. Gotta say that the shots were pretty cool
. What kinda shots were they? I’ll let you know later. Hint: I get to hold swords!
You know what? I’m finally starting to feel a little home sick. I miss not being around friends and being able to communicate in English w/ people. Despite all the good food, cheap stuff, and all the other pluses I’ve mentioned about HK already, I’m really looking forward to going back home. One more week left…

lol. eating outta a toilet b owl. thats genius!
that toilet bowl thing….is kinda weird. did you feel strange at all eating out of it? xD
surprisingly no…but all three of us had an urge to go to the toilet afterwards haha
Yeah, its hard being a completely different country without your friends. I was lucky enough to be traveling back when my best friend Chi was vacationing to Vietnam as well. Personally I couldn’t eat out of a toilet bowl, I have a weak stomache when it comes to that kind of stuff haha. It looks so much prettier in Hong Kong than it is in Vietnam. O.O I love the pictures.
Also I love the arcades here too there are these awesome like fighting games that are back to back and you can have battles with people sitting across from you, or you can play alone. Hehe I always find competition very fun. They had sport games too, like tennis was a popular arcade game here. When I was playing tennis with some guy he was really over competitive and started screaming. It was kind of scary. <(~.~”<) i was just like…okeyyy *runs away
I’m still in Vietnam right now, I’m kind of sick so I havent seen the outside of this hotel room in a while. I’m going home in a couple weeks but we are trying to get home earlier because of school. I’m anxious.
Wow! I should visit the modern toilet next time.
What do you think of Shenzhen? I always go there to pamper myself
I spoke English once when I was in hk XD
@Got_Takoyaki - It was alright, was only there shortly. Spent most of my time just waiting for my parents to take pictures haha.
