Obviously, personality beats out looks any day for me. Pretty girls are a dime a dozen, but to have that winning combination of being both pretty AND having an amazing personality is so rare to find.
However, It's hard to see someone's personality at first glance, so clearly physical things are going to be noticed by me at first. I've realized over the years that there were a few things a girl can wear that had the potential to um, disarm me. Before I knew it, I would stop whatever I was doing and just find my eyes unconsciously lingering over at the girl's directions for however long it takes for me to break out of the trance. I've gotten better at handling these effects over the years, but occasionally I would still find myself weakened momentarily before shaking out of it.
Since some people were curious, I decided to list a sample of the accessories one can wear that will most likely draw my attention. It's not a comprehensive list, but it hits the major items that could potentially stun me. I will also give each item a power factor (i.e. the effect on me) ranging from 1 (can illicit a quick glance) to 5 (I'm under your spell 0_0).

HeelsPower Factor: 1Additional Comments: This barely made it on my list. In the past, I have caught myself looking at a girl sporting a nice pair of heels. Then again, it could just be the clanking sounds they tend to make that grabs my attention. *shrugs*
Long EarringsPower Factor: 2Additional Comments: The longer and/or bigger the earrings, the greater the effect!
SundressesPower Factor: 2Additional Comments: Specifically, yellow and white sundresses have a much stronger influence on me. No clue why.
AnkletsPower factor: 3Additional Comments: Bracelets are far too common. Anklets are the way to go!
Sexy Eyeglass FramesPower Factor: 4Additional Comments: I heard that the sexy smart look on girls is the 5th leading causes of death for guys. Go ahead, wiki it.
Flower in HairPower Factor: 4.5Additional Comments: *Snaps out of it* Geez, you know it's bad when just a picture can mess you up.
????????????Power Factor: 5Additional Comments: Yeah right, like I'm going to spill my ultimate weakness right out in public? Please!
Here's a bonus item (although it's not really an accessory):
Tennis Players with GamePower Factor: 4.5Additional Comments: I love seeing a skillful girl passionately slamming balls for hours on end (in before "that's what she said")!
Hmm. After looking over this list, it seems I should try to avoid going to any women tennis tournament in Hawaii (unless I really want to see myself running into walls and tripping all over the place
).
Alright, I'm going to stop writing any more on this topic before I give myself a heart attack. Damn these weaknesses!

Perhaps that's part of the appeal of anklets; I just don't see them on girls often so when I do it catches my attention.@Roadlesstaken - that gets really uncomfortable though. im kind of a sprawler... :D

i think hoop earrings are more of a power factor than long earrings. but that's just me. :]
long earrings go in and out of style... like those "chandelier" earrings.
