Uh oh…

I should be studying for my exam and big quiz tomorrow, but I feel like procrastinating a little heh. 

This weekend was a pretty busy couple of days, with the homecoming
events and tennis matches and all.  UMBC did a great job with Homecoming
this year!  The bonfire was huge, the library looked like a
mansion or something with all those lights flying around, and the
fireworks were pretty to look at.  CommUniversity Fest went smoothly too.  For volunteering, not only do we get a free long sleeve t-shirt and free tickets to the Last Comic Standing show (which was hilarious!), but because our club was volunteering we made 125 bucks for ourselves!  Yay!

Match wise…not great results this weekend against Navy and
Maryland.  It seemed like we may had a chance against Navy early
in the match, but then Navy dominated in singles (unfortuanately for
us).  Maryland was super duper unorganized, but I couldn’t blame
the guy that was running today’s match because it was really other
people’s fault.  Plus, I was in his exact situation last year, so
I know how it felt.  No matter how disorganized Maryland was they
had pretty good people on their team and there was really nothing much
we can do about it…but hey, at least I won my doubles match w/ my partner Jon Wu today 8-3 .  Winning feels good… heh.

So yea, Chinese exam and big Deductive
System quiz tomorrow, Personality Psych exam this Thursday, and
Adolescent Psych exam the following Monday, not to mention 2 matches
this weekend .  I’m actually kinda hoping for rain this weekend because we could use a break.  Shoot, I need a break…

So we lost…again…

…by the same score 3-6.  However this time it wasn’t really too
much that we didn’t play well but more like  we were beaten by a
more skilled team.  Still, I can’t help to think that if we had
Jon and Caroline we could have maybe…nah w/e.  I just hope we
break this losing streak soon because it doesnt feel good haha. 
At least we got closer as a team yesterday!   Guess we need
to work better during practices from now on…

Next weekend is the Navy match (only girls) and the Maryland
match.  Hey, I can go visit some friends that day!  And go to
Tenren!  And maybe get some DP Dough (gosh I missed that)!

Man, my righ calf is still bothering me!  I did something to it
during Friday’s practice and now it feels all stiff when I walk. 
So annoying!

So I guess I should study today.  Yea study…(urgh)…

A damn fine movie!  I haven’t seen the original movie that it was
based on yet, but I think I will after seeing this tonight.!

Alright, some personal feelings:

School
has been more or less alright.  I’m pretty sure I will get an A in
Chinese and Personality Psych, but I’m unsure if I will in Deductive
Systems and Adolescence Psych.  Keep making dumb mistakes in those
classes urgh!   We shall see…

My mood has been up
and downs, not enough stability.  Heh, to think that I use to be
content all the time…I know one thing that could change that would
make me really really really happy, but I’m not sure if it will happen
yet.  Life would be a lot easier if I can just read her
mind.  There’s always time, so I’ll be patient

We lost to Towson 3-6 yesterday
.  It’s okay though; it was a close match and had our #1 guy
singles and #1 girl doubles pull through in their really really close
matches we woulda won.  Props to Towson Tennis Club; they were the
better team yesterday.  Look like we got some things to work on

Just got done my Chinese Exam, which I think I got an A on.  Got
one more exam today in Adol. Psych.  Can’t wait to get that over
with!
