  • Cheers, Darling…

    So tennis…lately I’ve been so
stressed out about it.  Running the Tennis Club and trying to play
enough to remain competitive is a tough task.  So after losing to
Dave yesterday in my challenge match and running practice last night I
decided to focus on just making sure the club runs smoothly and not
worry about competing.  It’s just too much at this point.
I’ll still be playing at practices and I’ll still be back-up for
matches, but I’ll let others below me get a chance to play.  Trust
me; after making this decision I felt a load lifted off my
shoulders.  Besides, my tennis folks are great, so i’m sure they
can do well in matches.  I’m happy…

In fact, a lot of good stuff
has happened over this past week, I just didn’t see it that well
because of all the other crap that has been going on.  Things are
    starting to look up!

Ah, i just remember something; my little 11 yr old brother got in big trouble the other day for punching a boy and then later “stabbing” another
boy in his arm w/ a pencil.  In my brother’s defense, the first
boy started it by slapping him around and my brother was blocking
before he decided to fight back, and the second boy was just poked w/ a
pencil, not really stabbed…either way, my brother got suspended all
week and at risk of being expelled.  I doubt that will happen, but
we’ll see…BTW i’m definitely not saying my brother’s actions were
great (as I did had to go back and give him some punishment i.e.
writing “I will learn to control my anger in the future”
over and over again and no more tv and computer privileges), but it’s
not severe enough to be expelled.  Hell, he even got a police
citation!  Hope he will be alright.  Wish him good luck guys!

Gotta study this weekend.  Thought I would have other plans but
plans were never mean to stay the same.  It’s ok though, my new
plans are probably better for me.

    Cheers darlin'
Here's to you and your lover boy
    Cheers darlin'
I got years to wait around for you
    Cheers darlin'
I've got your wedding bells in my ear
    Cheers darlin'
    You give me three cigarettes
    To smoke my tears away

And I die when you mention his name
And I lied, I should have kissed you
When we were running in the rains

    What am I, darlin'?
    A whisper in your ear?
    A piece of your cake?
    What am I, darlin?
    The boy you can fear?
    Or your biggest mistake?
