Soccer today w/ berto and jesusIm fried from today! I hung out at Centennial Park today for my
Dad’s workplace BBQ. It was really hot, but not humid so it
wasn’t too bad. good family time!Afterwards I hung out w/ berto and jesus at berto’s house. We watched Better Luck Tomorrow,
their first viewing of it. I wasn’t sure if they would like it,
but I’m glad that the movie translate well to non-asian folks.
That’s one of the great thing about Better Luck Tomorrow: a movie
w/ an Asian cast that doesn’t focus too much on that aspect.Secret Asian Man tells it best:

THAT WAS U?!?!?! i was playing tennis on the west side of the park and jogged around the lake. i saw ppl on the courts but i couldnt really tell if that was u or not lol
you are the first person from UMBC to give me a clear reason why (at least during regular semesters) someone isn’t allowed in there. as for this woman and the completely empty room- i think she was on a power trip!

Well, if you ever want to play tennis with someone who owns a racket but doesn’t know how to use it, let me know, I’m at UMBC tue and thur.
and about better luck tomorrow, i’ll have to check it out. The Asian culture is so rich and ancient, I suppose its hard to make a movie with an all Asian cast that doesn’t tie in some sort of traditional Asian plotline.
In my opinion, its always wicked cool to see martial arts in movies. I prefer watching films where people kung fu their way through fight scenes, than cowardly gunplay.
